I live around the corner so birkin is a convenient options. They have a very good coffee albeit a bit overpriced (you'll pay for it almost the same as for an avocado toast). Food options are very interesting and very tasty when fresh however there's no strict control on that unfortunately. Twice I was served absolutely rottten tomatos with disgusting mould on it and on another accotions black sweet potatoes that looks like we're kept in a fridge for a few days... When brought to waiters attention I received a replacement but they didn't even offer a discount or removed items from the bill to make up for it. A completely different experience from the original Birkin café. In here, service is honestly poor, on a hot day AC doesn't work. They actually open doors on a 90/95° so forget about enjoying a good coffee in Buenos Aires summer in this store.
The tables are so contiguous that you practically have to whisper to not be heard by the neighbors.
PS. Ask for a croissant, and take the challenge to find what they bring you -anything... you name it... but definitely not a croissant-.
