Positive: The decoration of the place is an attraction on itself, it’s spectacular to look at and instagram lovers were in heaven. The cocktail that I order was also delicious and the bartender that did it was nice and kind. But that is the only positive I can say about it.
Negative: The place is extremely pretentious, believing to be a luxury establishment because they got an edgy design as if that it is all it takes.
Food: overrated and very overpriced for what it is. It is just normal food, small serving, costing an average of 25k pesos.
Costumer service: tries their best to make your experience as unpleasant as possible. My group had a table (reservation) and we got treated as if we were an inconvenient guest (nuisance) that has been in their house for 3 days and can’t get a hint to leave so all interactions are filled with passive aggressiveness to force them out. They act as if your presence is a burden, don’t explain things properly, get annoyed when you ask questions and you still get bad surprises on the way like hidden fees and that your reservation only lasts 2 hours (all of it could have been informed beforehand but they couldn’t be bothered). They are slow to get your order and bring your food/drinks but extremely efficient to remember your reservation is ending (they only do 2 hours reservations but don’t inform you) by dismissing you in a rude way. The waitress “serving” our table clearly didn’t want to be there and we seemed to be the obstacle between her and the end of her shift.
Reservation: you book a table thinking you will have time to eat and drink and enjoy, but they don’t inform you your reservation is timed, you only have 2 hours to sit. How do they let you know? By shoving a bill on the table and asking how do you want to pay. When we were all surprised by it, they say it was informed in the moment of the reservation. Except it wasn’t, they lied. It truly felt as if that was a power move they enjoyed doing against the patrons, taking pleasure in the frustration it creates.
My tip: it might be worth visiting once, for like 1h. But go for the cocktails and wine, don’t bother with food and try to depend as little as possible of their service or else you won’t be having a good time. And be aware that they will be putting effort to let you know they are better than you and that you don’t...
Read moreThe atmosphere here is fantastic. There is so much potential in this place which is why it's a shame to rate it 2 stars but I will try to back that rating up. I'm not a very picky person in general but I did work at a cocktail bar or two and I enjoy a good cocktail from time to time. There are certain expectations that a cocktail spot should at least attempt to meet especially one that has so much potential and quite a reputation. The bartender didn't know very basic classic cocktails, which would be fine if he wasn't entirely uninterested in even attempting to know what I was trying to order. I speak Spanish, which shouldn't matter when it comes to good service but hopefully that adds context. He finished our drinks and never asked us to pay and moved on to the next order, still no eye contact. I had to wait about 5 more minutes until I walked away to see a part of the bar for a second until he pointed at me to come back and made a "you need to pay" gesture with his hands. It was honestly abysmal service. When he didn't know what a Last Word was and turned his back on me mid sentence, I moved to another bartender, stood there for 10 minutes and ended up leaving. I didn't have the food but it did look good so I gave that 5 stars. This is really a rating based on the service. I think this place could be a world class bar but currently this is so far...
Read moreThis was such a cool concept and place to be in so happy I came while I was here in Argentina! It took me a second or two to find, there was a handsome gentleman letting people in. I descended down the stairs as there was content worthy NYC themed memorabilia lining each step. The whole process of getting into the subway and pressing the button was so cool. You got a little bit of a decompression moment and second to get the content you wanted without as much noise from the music before pressing the button to enter. It really was reminiscent of a speak easy. The vibes, drinks, type of people there. It was all laid back and the type of place that people who know people go or at least that’s how you feel. The”OOPS…. I did it again” was so delicious. And as a religious chocolate girl the passion fruit white chocolate kiss on the side was actually very pleasing. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I was not the biggest fan of was in order to grab a bite there was a minimum. You couldn’t simply get a small bite. Either way cool place and experience...
