Cinna® Coffee&Roll — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

On a cold, rainy winter night when all hope seemed soaked and shivering, I saw the light… literally… the warm glow of Cinna Coffee and Roll calling me like a bakery-shaped lighthouse. I stumbled in, half-frozen, and was immediately met with the kind of friendly welcome usually reserved for people returning from war or bringing cake. The staff made me feel like I belonged despite looking like I’d just lost a battle with a broken umbrella. I ordered an Americano and a cinnamon roll with berry jam, because if I was going to emotionally eat… I was going to do it right.

The coffee hit with the comforting precision of a hug in liquid form: strong, hot, and not here to play games. The roll was a soft and warm masterpiece. Was a reminder that life can be hard but with the right dose of caffeine and sugar things are gonna get better. I walked in wet and tired. By the time I left, I was full, caffeinated… slightly more optimistic...

Ayer fuimos a merendar con mi novia cerca de las 19hs. Ante todo, la demora en que lo atiendan a uno y que le sirvan es impresionante. Unos 15' para que tomaran el pedido. Aunque no debería ser así, se entiende: 2 personas en el local: 1 lava la vajilla y el otro toma el pedido, cobra y despacha el pedido. En un momento vi a un muchacho extranjero que entraba y salía. Se puso a hablar con 2 personas más afuera mientras fumaba. Luego se fue en bici.

Pedimos 1 dulce, 1 salado y 1 café. La carta no muestra opciones para quienes no nos gusta el café. Quien atendía dijo que podía hacer un submarino o chocolatada ya que usaban chocolate al 60%, lo cual me pareció bien.

Luego de prepararlo me fui a sentar. Estaba todo frío! Tuve que ir a pedir wue calentaran ambos rolls. Mejor luego. Voy a tomar la bebida y estaba fría también. Ambas! Además, se notaba que la leche bo estaba caliente desde el "vamos" porque todo el chocolate que usaron para preparar la bebida estaba intacto. Me lo terminé comiendo con la cuchara. No tuve ni ganas de ir a que calentaran eso también. La verdad que terminé comiendo así porque era para tirarles todo!

Al acercar mi bandeja, el pibe nuevo que me atendió me consultó cómo estuvo todo y le dije todo esto. Solo se disculpó. No me tomó el teléfono ni nada. Una vergüenza la respuesta también.

Y toda esta mala experiencia costó casi...

I was at Cinna yesterday (October 11, around noon) and ordered two bagels and two flatwhites. The employees forgot about us and waited about 20 minutes for my order. The coffee was very good, but the bagels were average. After this, I went to the restaurant next door (Quma, or something like that), and was served by a waiter called Pato, who was very friendly.
