Delicious Café — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Two cups of coffee and a flat bread ham tomato and cheese hot sandwich. I’ve been speaking highly of this place to friends over the last five years or so, hadn’t been there for some time and was quite disappointed. Coffee seemed kind of rough, don’t know if they’ve changed their style but was not as mind blowing as at first which initially made me a follower. But what definitely ruined my snack and afternoon was the raw-ish bread and worst of all was the slightly smelly ham in the sandwich. I was hungry and concerned I was being a little too sensitive to smells and gobbled it up, complained about it anyway (after paying, not looking for a discount or anything), but later in the day my suspicions were confirmed by obnoxious digestive complications… Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen, but look out, I believe they are...

Ya tenemos unas cuantas venidas a Delicious en nuestro haber y cada una es distinta, así que acumulamos experiencias variadas. Como primero, debo decir que el café en mi opinión no es su fuerte; pese a que hay un cartel al entrar que afirma usar café de especialidad, y le creo, al sacarlo tan caliente lo queman y no se aprecia. Con el capuchino disimula, pero en un flat white, por ejemplo, el primer sorbo te quema la garganta, por lo caliente, y al rato, por la acidez. No obstante esto, siempre les volvemos a dar una oportunidad porque la comida es muy delicious, justamente. El otro día fui y me pedí para llevar un café y dos budines sin taac, uno de limón y otro de chocolate. En esa oportunidad take away el café estaba bien y los budines, ¿cómo decirlo? SUBLIMES, en el podio de los esponjosos, húmedos, frosting cremoso con mucho sabor, crocantito de almendras y naranja justo. Tanto así como lo describo fue, que le hice probar a mi novio y quiso volver por esos budines que merecen todas las decepciones que vengan. Ayer fuimos, pedimos un flat, un capu, el budín de chocolate y, a falta del de limón, el de almendras. Después de como 30 min, nos dicen que no había del budín de almendras, pero yo lo veía ahí. "No, está vendido", me dijo la chica que, pobre, se ve que empezó hace poco porque estaba re perdida. Después de 10 min más, llegaron los cafés, una cheesecake y el budín hermoso. El flat hirviendo, ni la taza podías tocar sin quemarte, el capu, tómable. El flat literalmente no pudimos tomarlo, pedimos otro no tan caliente y que no tarde media hora que nos teníamos que ir. Lo trajeron de vuelta bastante rápido, pero igual de humeante. Fuimos a pagar a la caja para evitarnos más retrasos, les comentamos lo sucedido, fueron receptivos a nuestros comentarios ofreciéndonos no cobrarnos, lo que no aceptamos porque no somos ese tipo de carancho gastronómico. Definitivamente, voy a seguir yendo por esas delicias sin taac, no sé si me arriesgue a consumir en el lugar, o sí, no sé, porque cada experiencia en este café...

This place is AMAZING. We were stuck outside waiting for our key from the landlord that we rented from. The owners saw us waiting outside and invited us in, not only were they kind to let us stay there until the landlord came. To say the least 5 hours later, we got to know them well. Not only that, this place has the best coffee of all of Buenos Aires and I am a coffee snob. Some of the best food I have eaten and the atmosphere is amazing and owners are just fantastic... THANK YOU FOR MAKING our HOLIDAY SO AMAZING.... your kindness was...
