I recently had the pleasure of dining at here, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. From the amazing atmosphere to the perfectly paired food and wine, everything about this place exuded elegance and sophistication. The moment I stepped into , I was captivated by the intimate with its tasteful decor; it was the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Each dish was a work of art and thought out, meticulously prepared and presented with utmost care. The flavors were exquisite, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. It was clear that the chefs at were masters of their craft, creating dishes that were both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. One aspect that truly stood out was the impeccable wine pairing. The sommelier at had an incredible knowledge of wines and skillfully selected the perfect wines to complement each dish. The combination of the fabulous food and the carefully chosen wines elevated the dining experience to new heights. I must also commend the staff for their exceptional service. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of. As a woman, I particularly appreciated the talented team of men in the kitchen who prepared my meal with such skill and passion. It was a delight to witness their culinary expertise firsthand. While this place may be on the pricey side, the overall experience is well worth it. The amazing atmosphere, the delectable food paired with fabulous wines, and the outstanding service all contribute to a dining experience that is truly unforgettable. In conclusion, if you're looking for a dining experience that combines elegance, exceptional food, and top-notch service, is the place to be. Indulge in the culinary delights, savor the fabulous wine pairings, and let the talented team of professionals take you on a gastronomic journey you won't soon forget.

Shame on you! We arrived at 7:30 pm as the reservation said we had to be on time (do not be late for your experience.) The reservation was at 7:40 pm as per the website. However, we rang the bell and the owner opened the door. He informed us that the operation would start at 7:45 pm only and shut the door on our faces. Then, at 7:45 pm, nobody still opened the door yet, we decided to ring the bell once more time. No one opened the door right away. After awhile, the owner opened the door with his way of thinking that here he was opened the door on time. We just told him that “you know what, you were late. we just didn’t want to enter to your restaurant anymore. Just invited the others to get in.” (He literally opened the door at 7:47 pm.) For us, the outside was too cold. After 15 minutes waiting and he was late, it was enough for us. If he mentioned on the booking that the reservation was at 7:40 pm., he should be ready before that time. We just would like to be clear that this was not our first time here. We had a very good time on the first visited that we would decide to come back. Last time we entered to the restaurant at 7:30 pm. Lily and Hesus looked after us. They were brilliant. We were grateful for their service. I wish I could meet them again. It was all about the arrogance of the owner. No consistency compared to last time. We just decided to walk away at that point as we felt so so so bad how the owner treated us. We just would like everybody to know that once you book for this restaurant, you have to pay in advance. Please just consider before you make any bookings as you won’t get your money back. We planed to visit this restaurant monthly as we just had moved to Argentina, but we decided not to go back there ever. Waist of time and money!!!

I was born and raised in Argentina, but have lived in many countries including the US, France, and other South American nations. As with virtually every country, travelers have a hard time internalizing in the rituals of dining in Argentina as one is usually relegated to a restaurant experience where food is the only product. Asados in Argentina go well beyond a dinner as they are social rituals with a variety of activities in a specific sequence performed while the environment changes its temperature, aromas, and moods as the malbecs set in :) Fogon Asado captures the experience of the Argentine asado ritual and elevates it with notes of elegance without subtracting from the essence of the culture. Needless to say, the ingredients they use, from the beef to the selection of wine are of the highest quality available. The experience is exquisitely curated down the details of DIY chimichurri, elegant gaucho style knives, and a table around the firepit which is so perfectly engineered that no heat nor smoke affects your experience. The staff is trained to be able to share their culture in a way that details do not get lost in translation, no matter where you are from. I came with my American husband to evaluate the experience as a place to bring our international guests when it becomes difficult for us to host such an experience, and we both left enchanted. Do not leave BA until you have had your Fogon Asado experience.
