Kongō Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Coffee is very good, particularly the lattes made with the rich, flavorful dairy products you can only find in Argentina… The co-owners were working the front and back of house, and the service was friendly, swift, and funny both in English and Spanish. Ambiance is chic, modern, and monochrome, and the music was international English rock. Very cosmopolitan. … But it is the pastries that will keep you coming back. The medialunas de manteca in particular are perfect: slightly sweet, devastatingly buttery, with a perfectly executed texture that is somehow crispy and tender and flaky...

Now this cafe in my TOP list of cafes in Buenos Aires! Very stylish place with simple but neat design. I liked the bouquet of flowers from LEGO, that's nice. And the identic is quite beautiful. I really like it! Coffee is great, espresso-tonic I drunk one of the best in the city. Also I evaluate cheesecake with berries, it's soft and not so sweet. Atmosphere is great for spending working hours with laptop, or meet friends. There is music inside but you still don't need to scream. That's pretty good!

Went here because of the high reviews, and have spent the last 2 weeks of my time in BA trying to find my favourite coffee. Not sure if perhaps I went on a bad day but this unfortunately did not live up to the reviews.

It looked good, but the medialuna did not taste fresh. Given the amount of pastries on display I suspect it was a day old, also the coffee tasted burnt. Much better places in the area given the price of this one. Not as good as I hoped but the staff...
