This is one of those places that the chef does it for his passion and love for great food for people. As soon as you step in, the kitchen and the whole operation is right there in front of you. The chef (old Fogo (spelling check needed) as he called himself) is one of the owners and he cooks from his passion. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced with great quality and smartly assembled together and the results are amazing! This place is awesome! The food is great. It's reasonably priced (they could actually charge more, I think) and the people that own it are the very best! There are four young folks that own La General and they are doing a super job of making this a staple of the neighborhood. They're always open. They always have great food.
