One of the most amazing culinary experiences of my life! Unpretentious, honest food. Premium quality ingredients that surprises your palate instantly. The sweetbreads are just heavenly delicious, the provoletta is another perfect dish, with all its simplicity but handle with love and respect, it’s turned into a complex and satisfying appetizer that you will pair with a perfect fresh baked roll. The beef is king, in this absolutely gorgeous restaurant. The skirt steak is presented to you by a skillful waiter that cuts it with a spoon, yes, that tender. The service is spotless, wait stuff are very knowledgeable and super nice. The wine selection is one of the best I’ve seen. For sure, one of the three best “parrillas” in B.A…if...

I have bought a bottle of Achaval Ferrer Malbec 2017 which cost 750 pesos. When I opened it I realized it became bad. It had a brown color and taste of vinegar. I went to the wine shop and asked to exchange it. They refused to change it and told me that I should contact the winery. I live in Buenos Aires for 12 years. Sometime you are unlucky and the wine turns to be bad. It is a low probability but it happens. All wine shops always replace bad wine or return your money. First time in my life I faced refusal from the wine shop to exchange the bad wine. It looks like they work mainly for tourists who pass by, buy wine, and never return. So they do not care about returning customers. Avoid if you are...

La Malbequería is the wine bar, Lo de Jesús is the iconic parrilla next door, and here you get the best of both worlds. The wine list is deep with excellent Argentine labels, and the service is attentive without being rushed. From the kitchen, the provoleta comes bubbling with a perfect crust, the burrata salad is mixed tableside, and the milanesa napolitana is crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. The bread service with olive oil, chimichurri, and salsa criolla sets the tone perfectly. It is not the cheapest parrilla in Palermo, but the quality and the experience justify the price, especially with the cash discount. I will be back for the entraña or the...

Recommended by Lonely Planet, we got to enjoy a tasting and ‘tour’ of Malbecs across Argentina. This was one of the things I wanted to experience in Argentina, and this did not disappoint! Yuriko was our sommelier and very knowledgeable, kind, and professional! We got to try 4 Malbecs, and had queso and bread to go along with it. I would recommend her! This was a wonderful time and you shouldn’t miss it. Bring cash to get 20% off!

Definitely a decent restaurant, but I am not a big wine guy so I didn't get that excited about it. If you are looking for the best meat in Buenos Aires, look anywhere else. If you are looking for pretty good meat with fancy wine pairings, this may be the place for you. Also had a small but decent selection of Argentinean beers.
