i ordered an avocado toast that you needed a magnifying glass to find the avocado. the hard/burnt toast only looked tinted lightly green. when i told the waitress that the avocado toast hardly had any avocado, she went to look for the manager. the manager told me that that was the proper amount of avocado, and that that was the recipe of the head chef. if you enjoy avocado on your avocado toast, skip this place.

i am used to a different level of service of this brand, and clearly le pain quotidien argentina is sub par to any other le pain quotidien experience that i have had in a number of cities in other countries.
this was a constructive criticism given to your staff that would have been solved by simply giving a little amount more of avocado, or at very least an apology for a very lacking dish you serve.
a little bit of avocado would have gone a very long way in avoiding losing a client, having that person review you negatively, plus passing along the experience to many friends and family.

Le Pain Quotidien opens at 9 which is an hour earlier than most other places we tried. We got a couple pastries some coffees and salmon eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict was perfect.
