PALITOS — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Not bad. As a chinese person myself, I found the food to be pretty good, considering it's difficult to find good Chinese food here in Argentina. I got the smoked duck, while my husband had the chop suey with chicken. The smoked duck was delicious, and how smoked duck usually is. The rice was perfect; hard to find good rice here lol.

Our only issue was the chop suey. It was basically a big mass of beansprouts, with bits of chicken and other veggies in there. No rice, no noodles, nada. Tasty, but plain beansprouts really. Like a beansprout salad.

Also the short stubby waiter was strange. Our nice lady waitress had asked us what we wanted, and we said forks, which she put on a plate for us on our tables. But when the short stubby man came out with our food, for some reason, he took our plate of utensils, and asked us what we wanted. I was weirded out at first; I dont need someone to personally hand me my fork thanks??? Confused.

The food was ok, nothing special but not bad. I had worse "Chinese cuisine" in this district and way more expensive. The service is very bad... I waited for like 20 minutes to have someone ask me if I wanted to see the menu 😵‍💫 Nobody welcomed me, and you had to find a table by yourself. The decoration is very Asian style, very good preserve, but that is it. I can understand that maybe they were short of staff, so I tiped anyway, but I would not recommend the place to any of my friends It was...

MUY MALO. Dudo bastante que en la cocina sepan siquiera lo que es comida china, es como si estuvieran jugando al restaurant y sirven estos platos. De verdad que una maruchan es mil veces mejor a lo que sirven aquí. Fuimos el día 23 de Febrero, el local recién estaba abriendo. La mesera aunque trataba de ser amable no tenía mucha idea de lo que contiene cada plato. Pedimos Arrollados primavera mixto (vegetales y carne), Chop Suey de pollo y Sopa Vegetariana. PRIMERO llegó la sopa vegetariana después de unos 20 minutos esperando, SOLA, no trajeron los 2 platos al mismo tiempo, por lo que mi amiga ya estaba en la mitad de su comida cuando trajeron el chop suey. Los arrollados primavera de vegetales, MALISIMOS, muy pasados de aceite, hay que ocupar unas cuantas servilletas para secarlos, los de carne estaban ok, pero demasiado aceite. El Chop Suey sin sabor, pocas verduras, era una montaña de dientes de dragón, el pollo insípido, lo cocieron y listo. La sopa vegetariana, era base de agua y literal sirvieron agua caliente con unas pocas verduras y dos pedazos de champiñón, absolutamente sin sabor, se notó que no cocinaron todo junto se pidió arroz para acompañar tamaño desastre, no ayudó ya que el arroz estaba MALISIMO también.
