We stopped a random local to ask her what her fav Pizza Place was and she recommended this place to us. She told us specifically to ask to be sat at the Patio Neopolitano and we were excited and.on our way! The restaurant itself is on a popular street and the front looks small but when we asked to be sat at the secret spot, we got ushered to the back to a HUGE hall. I guess this place wasn't so secret after all 😂 We ordered what we wanted and got some beers , orange juice and water for the table which came promptly. Pizza room a little while and when it came it wasn't what we ordered. We asked for mushroom and onion on a half Chicken half Pepperoni pizza. We were missing onions and chicken and instead got olives all over. We just let the waiter know that we'd still be fine with it and just not charge us for the ingredients we didn't get. He apologized and said he must've been confused - in hindsight he didn't write anything down. So just make sure you get what you ordered. He did offer to make it up to us by adding the chicken and onions after but thats like putting the pie back in the oven and took some time. We went that route regardless and were thankful for the option. Overall it's a busy place but the energy is SO COOL. It's buzzing with hungry enthusiasm and the staff are constantly on the move to get every one sat and fed. The pizza isn't the best certainly but definitely wasn't terrible. They had too many options so might wanna do some research before going.

Our tour guide recommended this place for the best pizzas in Buenos Aires. The online reviews validated her suggestion. This was the second pizza place that I tried in Buenos Aires, so I can't comment if it's the best here but it was definitely VERY GOOD! The craziest part about the place was the unending queue to enter the place. I have never seen such a queue for pizzas anywhere in the world and it was pouring cats and dogs when we reached. For the first timers/tourists- there is usually a long queue to enter the place if you wish to eat a slice of pizza or have the entire pizza or take-away. However, there was outdoor seating, where you can get a table if you are looking to order an entire pizza. If you don't understand/speak Spanish, language will be a barrier but with the translator, the staff was very helpful. Oriel was serving us that night and he was always ready to help with a smile. We ordered two grande size pizzas among 5 of us and we could barely finish two slices of the second pizza. The pizzas were huge, thick crusted, with an apt amount of cheese. We ordered one with green olives and the other with tomatoes and basil leaves. Both tasted really really good. They were perfectly baked, the marinara sauce had the perfect blend of sweetness and tanginess, the cheese tasted so good! The chaos due to the rains and the wait time was all worth it. I will definitely recommend Pizzeria Guerrin for all those in or visiting Buenos Aires.

If you like lots of cheese, you will like Pizzeria Guerrin. Good thing I do like lots of melty cheese. It's hard to miss this busy pizza spot as they have not 1, not 2, but 3 signs that read 'Pizzeria Guerrin' in large, bright, neon lettering. On our last night in Buenos Aires, we decided we had had enough beef, and thought pizza would be the way to go. Especial de la Casa w/ muzzarella, jamon, aceitunas (Chica size, ~200 pesos, ~$12 USD): This pizza looked a bit like Christmas to me, with the green olives, and what looked like bright red pieces of ham. I don't like olives, but I willingly tried a bite with an olive. At least I know I am still not an olive fan. Muzzarella (Chica size, ~140 pesos, ~$9 USD): very good, mucho mozzarella on the pizza! Both were very satiating pizzas. The crust was nice and doughy, and the edges had a little bit of crunch. Like I mentioned, there is a lot of cheese, so you can't really taste the sauce. The crust could barely hold the weight of the cheese, but it had a beautiful pull to it, and was very gooey. Presentation doesn't seem to be a major concern, as the excess cheese spilled over the edges during the baking process. I also got an empanada w/ jamon y queso. It was a large and puffed-up, with a very crunchy surface, and lots of ham and cheese inside. We managed to share 2 small pizzas between 5 people, but there were 3 not-so-hungry ones, and 2 perpetually hungries, myself being the latter, of course.

Güerrín lives up to its reputation. I've to say that whenever a reputation is sky-high, it's pretty easy to let down. This was not the case. Food: 10/10 We asked 2 types of pizza: fugazza with cheese and napolitana. Both fantastic. The fugazza is better. Crust is awesome. Perfectly cooked. Golden and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfect amount of cheese (take into account that this is not fugazzeta rellena). The onion was perfect. Not too little, not too much, just right. They brought it really really hot, which is perfect, as pizza gets cold pretty quickly. Nothing to complain. Atmosphere 9/10 This place is packed. Literally full. Sometimes you need to wait a lot to get a seat. If you see a line on the street, they are all waiting for a seat. Luckily, the place is HUGE, so the line works itself pretty quickly. Inside it's noisy. Don't go for a romantic dinner. Otherwise, it's a experience you need to live. Service 9/10 Overall good and quick. Waiters are trained to give suggestions, which is great. Overall, it was an awesome meal and experience. Tip: try to avoid the upstairs level. They use another oven, and the pizza is not cooked the same.

If you are used to good Italian thin pizza with a crispy crust then like us you might end up quite dissapointed with the pizza here. We found it really fat and the crust was not crispy, but most of all there was so much cheese on it that it felt like we were just eating molten cheese. If you do go here, bare in mind that a grande pizza is really really big. We had one each for about 12000 peso per pizza and could barely eat half of it. I understand why people mostly share a pizza here and just take a few slices.. :') It has a nice atmosphere, but is also super big and crowded and I feel like there is too little staff to handle it all. Our waiter was super chill and friendly, but because of how crowded it was, it took over 20 min before we could order, 20 more before we had drinks and 20 more before we had the pizza. We got there on tuesday around 13.15 and got a table immediately. Overall I would not recommend grabbing pizza here, but that could also be my (and my friends) personal taste and preference for thin and less fat pizza's.

The menus features a variety of pizzas and empanada varieties. The pizzas are large enough to share as a group. We ordered one plain and one pepperoni pizza. I also ordered a side of beef empanadas (they offer baked and fried variety, 100 points!). Food arrived in a timely manner was soooo delicious. The pizza is thick with a fluffy crust, topped with a delicious tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheesiness. I felt like I was in pizza heaven. And, among all the empanadas I had in Buenos Aires, I think I had the best at Pizzería Güerrín. I ordered the fried variety and it was tasty, almost like a Puerto Rican Pastellitos. Really, really good! Service was great, attentive, and very kind. Everyone smiled and welcomed us warmly. However, many of them do not speak English, so be patient and use a translator or app if possible. Overall, I'd highly recommend visiting. Definitely worth a trip if you are an avid pizza eater.
