I recently dined at this gem of an Italian restaurant, and I cannot say enough about the experience. From the moment I walked in, the sophisticated and warm ambiance set the tone for what was going to be an unforgettable meal. The decor is elegant, with a perfect balance of modern and classic touches that made the atmosphere both inviting and refined.

But what truly made the evening exceptional was the impeccable service. Victoria, our server, was simply outstanding. Her attention to detail, warm hospitality, and deep knowledge of the menu made our dining experience feel personalized and special. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, offering excellent recommendations and always being attentive without being intrusive.

The food itself was phenomenal—authentic, beautifully presented, and full of rich, bold flavors that transported us straight to Italy. From the fresh pasta to the perfectly cooked seafood, every bite was a delight.

I chose Puny - Pasta & Grill to have my last dinner in BA thinking I’d order pasta. Instead I ended up ordering a rump steak with roasted potatoes. In hindsight I wish I’d ordered pasta. My steak was ok, but the chef misjudged his or her cooking times and/or technique. I’d ordered a MR and it arrived more rare to medium rare. But unforgivingly the time on the grill for one side was much less than the other side, resulting in an imbalance of cooking time. I say ‘unforgivingly’ because the restaurant wasn’t busy (last night - Sunday at about 7.15pm) but maybe mistakes happen more often when there is no pressure on the kitchen? I’d eaten at two other Parilla steak houses in the area and had better cooked steaks at half the price so was disappointed with Puny...

We’re staying at the hotel down the street and we decided to walk around to try to find a place to eat. We looked in this place and it was pretty good looking the menu was fantastic and we thought yeah why not let’s try it so we walked in and they were extremely friendly, very helpful. The food was to die for and again the service is just wonderful. One of our party wanted to try some shrimp and he ordered the salmon and they threw some shrimp on the plate as an extra. No charge.
