The Coffee Store — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Service was incredibly slow. I ordered an iced coffee and a medialuna. After 30 minutes, I asked the waiter whether my order was coming and he asked to take my order again. My order then arrived 5 minutes later, so possible that they just forgot to put my order through. The medialuna was stale and dry, worst medialuna I've had in Buenos Aires. Coffee was average, what you'd expect from a non-specialty coffee shop. There were only a handful of other people in the cafe so doesn't justify why one coffee and a medialuna (not heated) took so long. The decor and space is...

El lugar es divino, bien amplio, limpio, luminoso. Yo pedí un Bagel NY que estaba muy bueno, especialmente el pan. La atención es muy buena. Quienes atienden son muy amables. Tienen unos botones en las mesas para ordenar o pedir la cuenta, lo que agiliza las cosas. Mi única queja es que tardaron bastante en traer la orden y eso que había muy poca gente en el lugar y que no era nada complicado de hacer. Ah, y que quería un latte caramel en vez del latte común que venía con el bagel pagando la diferencia (como he hecho en otras ocasiones en Café Martínez, por ejemplo) y me dijeron que no se podía... Que si pedía el latte caramel me iban a cobrar el precio completo + el del bagel. En cualquier cafetería, hasta en Mostaza, te dejan pagar la diferencia si querés otro tipo de café con el combo. Recomiendo el lugar, pero estaría bueno que reconsideren lo de pagar...

My first two times here were decent but the service seems to get worse. It took over 30 minutes for a waiter to bring me a menu today and I find the food is not worth its price. I'm not entirely sure whether or not the buttons to order and pay on the table...
