Tienta Helados Palermo — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

My experience pertains only about what I tried-- chocolate 70% ice cream. I can't have cream or coconut-based products due to cholesterol issues and was looking for chocolate ice cream made without cream or coconut products. Most vegan gelato bases in Buenos Aires have coconut hydrogenated oil, which I can't have, and that rules out 90% of vegan chocolate gelatos out there. Turns out, this one is made without cream or coconut products, so voilà! An added plus --this flavor is bitter enough (ok, bittersweet enough), something I appreciate, as I don't love uberly sweet ice cream. So, this ice cream shop was a happy find for me. I don't know how it stands compared to other creameries in the city, but in the narrow universe of chocolate gelatos I can have, this one stands...

This is the best ice cream I’ve tried in a long time. The owner let us tried 9 different flavours and 9 of them were amazing (specially mascarpone cake and pistachio)

They don’t add additives or artificial flavouring so don’t expect super sweet and intense taste, just high quality and natural ice cream.

On top of that it is very cheap compared to with other ice cream places we’ve visited

No es fácil jugarse por una nueva heladería, a veces ... o quizás siempre, uno se lleva una sorpresa, a veces buena y a veces mala. La mía con Tienda de Helados, fue una verdadera sorpresa, y mucho más que grata. La atención fue muy amable y buena onda, con una energía que no se encuentra en cualquier lado. Los helados son muy ricos y hay gustos especiales que no están en otras heladerías. Esta todo limpio, armónico y amigable, con un ambiente intimo y relajado. Pero lo más interesante, fue haber charlado con el encargado, quien muy amablemente me ofreció que pruebe los otros sabores que yo no había comprado. Fue un momento genial, realmente me sentí en una degustación, probando diferentes gustos mientras me contaban sobre los ingredientes. Un momento especial, porque no es algo que pase siempe. Muchísimas gracias nuevamente por su tiempo, conocimiento y por compartir ese maravilloso encuentro....
