Almacen de Pizzas Mendoza — Restaurant in Mendoza

Oh dear god, this place was absolutely phenomenal…prepare yourself! My boyfriend and I were visiting Mendoza for a week from San Francisco, and are still talking about this pizza so wanted to give these folks a shoutout! Like so much of the food in Mendoza, it’s Italian with a twist. The combo of white and black garlic, fire roasted and fresh cherry tomatoes, and added fresh basil was unbelievable. And the crust was a work of art… perfect. The salad with fried kale (yes, fried!), burrata, roasted tomatoes, and roasted almonds was simply one of the best salads we’ve ever had - so unique and creative!...

Food was just ok. They have a wide varieties of different pizza which is great. The pizza was just alright and I felt that although they put a lot of cheese on the pizza, they will not put that same energy when it comes to the topping. For example, I got the pizza with smoked pancetta and I could literally count on my finger how many pieces of pancetta they put on it. The worst part for me was the service, it is a bit slow and sometimes you have to be active on looking out for the waiter to get what you need. Bueno, hoy le tengo que bajar la calificación que le había puesto previamente, le dejo 2 estrellas por qué las veces anteriores nos gustó mucho, pero hoy la atención no fue buena, no volvería.

Está vez queríamos pedir una pizza distinta y vi que había una con alcauciles y mortadela y me gustó, entonces le pedimos al mozo una pizza de alcauciles. La esperamos bastante, la mesa de al lado llegó después que nosotros y les sirvieron la pizza 10 minutos antes. Cuando llegó la pizza, no tenía queso y estaba llena de verduras asadas, teníamos mucha hambre así que la comimos para no tener que esperar a un cambio de pizza, el mozo no se acercó en ningún momento a preguntar si necesitábamos algo o si estaba todo bien. Cuando se acercó, cuando quedaban 2 porciones, le pregunté por la pizza y me dijo que no tenía idea, me fijé en la carta y hay dos pizzas que se llaman casi igual por qué tienen alcauciles pero no tienen nada que ver entre ellas, una es vegana y la otra todo lo contrario, el mozo no sabía sobre esto y la que él cargo en el pedido fue la vegana. Me hubiera gustado alguna resolución del mozo o algo de cortesía, pero no hizo nada y siguió en la suya. Me quedé con sabor amargo, es un lugar al que me gustaba ir y se lo recomendaba a otras personas.
