This was a nightmare and I will never return. I almost experienced life changing burns here, and the safety protocols are horrendous. Your experience will likely be different if you avoid a key element: ordering the the Fondue de Chinoise, which is effectively hotpot, where a portable grill is brought to the table and a fondue pot filled with broth is boiled. The pot was too small for the burner and FELL off multiple times due to waiters briskly stomping near the table or bumping into it. This almost resulted in spilling super hot oil into me and my partners lap. There was little concern from staff who only moved our tables to a less trafficked spot when demanded. There was no change in burner, pot or any concern for the possible safety issues at hand. After the table change, the waiters effectively ignored us for the rest of the meal. It took me 10 minutes to get water after all of this and they made sure to remind me tip was not included. Mind you, this is a 10 table restaurant. There is no excuse, the owners should be ashamed. I got better food around the corner...

The waitress was very welcoming, and gave me the option of ordering in Spanish or English. Along with an order of house wine, she served soft, warm bread and pastries with garlic cream. What a delight.
Served on a granite (?) slab, I ordered the ragout cordero with couscous. The meat was perfectly seasoned, and cooked at the right tenderness & consistency. The couscous perfectly balanced the meat's savoriness and texture.
I had a wonderful experience at La Casita. Easily, one of the best & memorable meals I had...
Read moreIt seems like a nice place. I came in with my family and friends. They told me the wait was about an hour (which was okay). I do not mind the wait, especially on a busy night. However, after waiting an hour, I was told that I would had to wait at least for one more hour because they give priority to couples. Which is ok if they work with tables up to 4 people, but they gave me this information after an hour wait. Absurd, and irresponsible (since I was with 3 children). If you are a family, this is NOT A CHOICE. Well, thankfully it is an amazing country with many good restaurants, so if you can avoid this one,...
