Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price

I ordered sushi from this place based on a friend’s recommendation. They had a great M-sized set with a nice variety of rolls, all looking fresh and creative. I decided to try the same set (salmon & shrimp) just in S size — and it was a complete letdown.

All I got were very basic rolls covered in sesame seeds — none of the interesting or visually appealing items my friends received. For $20, I expected something at least close in quality. Instead, the selection felt lazy and uninspired. Taste-wise, it was just average.

Honestly, this felt like a totally different (and much worse) set than the one I was recommended. I’ve attached a photo so you can judge for yourself.

Waited 1h30 for the food. Waitress incredibly overwhelmed, literally running around, trying to take orders, clean tables and serve customers. I just don't get how they can't be more organised, this is a recurring problem that clients seem to have flagged on Google and TripAdvisor for months. Sushi was very average too....

Lugar 10000% recomendable, hace años como sushi y soy gran fan de la cultura asiática, hoy sin embargo me fui deslumbrado. Primero: el local, muy lindamente decorado, con elementos tanto chinos, coreanos como japoneses que se combinaban en una gran mezcla. Segundo: la atención, las chicas super atentas y con una muy buena onda para atender, la comida llegaba a ritmo constante y sin hacerte esperar de más, hay q considerar que todo es de lo más fresco y hecho en el momento. Tercero y el punto clave: la comida, un sushi novedoso, bien diseñado, cuidado e increíblemente delicioso; fue toda una novedad, mezclando sabores frutales con el pescado y el arroz, añadiendo toques agrios con la frambuesa en contraste con el kanikama y dejando suaves sabores dulces en el mango y el salmón. Una experiencia complemente recomendable tanto a turistas como a locales, mi recomendación es ir en Jueves de sushi libre para poder disfrutar cada una de las delicias...
