Betty's Burgers — Restaurant in Adelaide

If I could give a zero star review I would. This is genuinely the worst customer service I have ever received.

I have on multiple occasions had issues with the app and tried to call up to let them know there was an issue. I accidentally called another location who picked up the call on the second ring. I have never had the Marion location answer the phone on any less than 6 calls, and they were never exceptionally helpful.

On one occasion they picked up on the 7th call and just put me down and had a conversation with another staff member about “the woman on the phone” and left me there listening to their conversation for 10+ minutes before I gave up and hung up. They did end up remaking my order on that occasion.

Recently I had a similar issue on the app and tried to call again, and I once again called literally a dozen times and only even managed to reach message bank on about half of the calls. I had placed the order for pickup in around 45minutes time. I then arrived and had to wait 15minutes to even talk to a staff member. I was then told they were working on my order next. I then proceeded to wait another 20minutes for my order, an additional 15minutes after I was supposed to collect it. I watched several people who ordered their meals after me, collect and eat their entire meal while I was still waiting. I even heard a staff member in the kitchen mocking another customers name as it was called for their order. I finally got given my already stone cold meals and when I finally got them home I realised they missed an item from my order.

The staff seem nice enough, they either just need more staff on during peak times or need...

the marion betty’s burgers is disappointing in service compared to the rundle st one. this is about the 4th time i’ve been to this betty’s burgers and the staff have never properly greeted me and communicated. my friend and i waited over 30 minutes for our food and it wasn’t even up to standard. when we collected our food there was no clear instruction of if the food sitting at the pass was ours or if we had to wait for an employee to give it to us. this could allow wrong food to be grabbed. the food we got was fries and 2 betty’s classic vegan burgers. the patty was cold, the avocado i paid to add was brown and sour and the bun was dry and thick. when we received our fries they had no salt and were cold. we took them back asking for salt and we witnessed the lady put our contaminated fries that we had been touching & eating back into the fry station and mixed them into fresh fries. this seems like a massive hygiene concern. to top it all off the new fries we got weren’t even salted properly and were cold, again. additionally the dining room and outdoor area always has rubbish and unclean tables and don’t provide a public rubbish bin. i adore the city betty’s burgers but this is a serious let down and i’m disgusted by the service and hygiene concerns i have seen. i hope you follow staff up on this and ensure the importance of food safety and good...

WARNING: Not for human consumption. Today was the first time I brought my kids to this establishment for lunch, it will be the last!!!. We ordered a crispy chicken burger, side of onion rings, chicken strips, chips and a chicken/avo salad + 2 milkshakes. After we ordered and took a seat, we witnessed other dinners take a bite or two of their food and leave looking extremely disgusted, that was red flag #1. 25 mins after ordering, our food was ready, the milkshakes were not. We took our food and began to eat… well… tried to. The food was cold, the chicken was still pink on the inside in both the burger and the chicken strips. Onion rings were soggy and the chips were also cold and unsalted… needless to say, we couldn’t eat bugga all of our lunch, we waited a further 20 minutes after we finished eating (or lack of) for the milkshakes, when they were brought out to us… the cups they brought them out in were so dirty (including lid and straw) it looked like they had been kicked around the restaurant floor and then used anyway, we couldn’t even drink them either. Not only is the food extremely overpriced for the servings… the quality is just… atrocious. Spent $70 just to leave hungry, and what we unfortunately did actually eat (before we saw the uncooked chicken in the middle) has made us sick… soooo… yeah. Avoid...
