First time dining last night, looking for something different than the regular local offerings. We discovered it on line with restaurant searches in our area, or surrounding areas. While I am not into Rap music (more of a understandable lyric type I am) I liked the ambience of the place and appreciated the mural artwork. We were met by a welcoming staff member, who gave us menus and informed us to sit where it suited us, we chose a table/bench arrangement as Jem likes that type. Anyone who reads my reviews regularly will know what Jem,my son orders lol. Yes, he decided to try out their burger. Looking at the menu, he thought the Homeboy was his best option and only required one tweak- swap out the chicken for a beef pattie, which was happily accommodated. A side of onion rings, side of share chips, were also ordered. I can't do chilli, pepper, hot stuff but wanted the Baby's got back BBQ ribs, I was assured they weren't hot. Obviously their interpretation of no hot stuff and mine were not the same. The sauce definitely had something that tingled my mouth and left my lips a little singed. Did that stop me from eating my ribs? No way, I polished them off. These ribs fell off the bone (clean bones can be seen in pics) they were scrumptious! The chips were great. The onion rings could use an accompanying aioli. Jem rated his burger a smidge under his #1- the TGIFridays TTP burger, so that's big praise! Drinks: Jem went the Oreo Nutella Chocolate loaded shake, worth the $20. I went with the Melon Jam juice which was absolutely Yum! We took home remaining onion rings and chips. Was it a cheap eat? No. Was it worth it? Yes The chef came out and asked about our meal, I discussed the "spice heat" he apologised and said next time he is happy to put it on the grill and not cook in sauce. I assured him that the spice heat didn't stop me eating or enjoying the food. My lips had stopped tingling by the time we left. We...

Was suppose to be disabled friendly when booked told them I used a walker and was told there would be room for one. Not true luckily I used my cane which made it deficit to get to my seat. Luckily saw some tacos on the way to our table and they were ridiculously small.so only ordered one was not going to get anymore. My husdand and daughter order 2 each against my advise. Waited half an hour for 3 tacos they weren't even full so asked for some more filling. When we finally got them they were filled with mushy meat and were to salty the sauce was tasteless water.in a plastic container. After another 15 minute wait we were asked if we wanted anything else and told then we were waiting on another two tacos they came out reasonably quick. My husband had a pork one that was to salty and nearly empty. The daughter had a chicken one that's was quite nice. If we had not paid in advance I would have left the restaurant after see someone else's tacos. They were so small. The pictures on there Web site are far from accurate. The tacos are no were near the pictures in size. Went to KFC on the way home for sliders. $2 ea and so much better. Will not recommend this restaurant and never go...

Ordered for delivery.

Missed a whole serve of chicken. Chicken and schnitzels had been Fried in quite dirty oil.

The chicken itself was nice, the coating was not, the kids couldn't finish it. We made them another meal.

Cheeseburger spring rolls were alright though.

Wrong protein of schnitzel was served, we ordered chicken and received beef. Mouthfuls of rubber vinegar, which is exactly why we ordered chicken, the vinegar taste was putrid, as was the dirty oil crumb. I ate one fifth of it, trying to save it with gravy for a nearly $40 meal, could not be saved. Other adult ate about one third, they're a bottomless pit and wouldn't even finish theirs, which is extremely rare.

The chips were average, generous serving but could do with some more seasoning, saved with the average gravy.

Not money for value whatsoever.

Unfortunately won't return, really disappointing after seeing good reviews.

Hopefully a bad night but enough for us to say nope after spending a decent amount there.

Thankfully the app provider is providing support about our very...

I’m still confused if this is the same owners as Burgertec, and if it is, why did they change their name. The atmosphere is great with the 90’s hip hop theme. Music was a bit too loud to have a decent conversation. Staff were great to offer a dog bowl if we sat outside with our dogs (was too hot to bring them in the end). Food took quite awhile to come out, I had the homeboy chicken burger, husband had the original burger. For some reason his burger came with tomato on it when that was def not on the menu for that burger. He is not a tomato fan. I didn’t feel so great afterwards, this same thing happened last time I ordered from this location (although was burgertec back then).

Opening hours aren't updated through Google; they're updated on Instagram & Facebook. They're not open at 8am like they say (over the Holiday season) and they're not ready when they 'actually' open at 9am. Coffee is warm only - probably 33-35°. Chocolate Pancakes (tall stack) is a 4 stack of pancakes, but has chocolate sauce around the pancakes on the plate only + some awful tasting fairy floss on the top of the pancakes, with vanilla ice cream and a big serve of a raspberry couli, which lends the pancakes to not be chocolate anymore. Big breakfast is massive and well worth it, with the tomatoes being blistered nicely, steak tastes lovely & tender, and eggs poached perfectly.
