Unfortunately I'm editing my review due to an upsetting recent experience. I usually come here regularly but my last experience was not a good one. Came with one friend and brought cake to share with her as it was her birthday. Asked for a knife to cut the cake and was told they're not allowed to give customers a knife (ok that's fair). So the staff cut the cake for me but when she returned the cake it looked terrible :( knife was not wiped between cuts, the cuts were not clean and the cake did not look appealing anymore which is upsetting as I had put a lot of effort and time into making this cake for my lovely friend. From the photo you can also see some contamination ontop the cake (the yellow bit) which I only noticed after I left and looked at the photos. As I didn't actually use any yellow colouring for her cake so it must've been from the staff's knife. In addition to that , a staff walked over afterwards and said "excuse me miss, if you want to have your cake here you need to pay $10". I was a bit shocked as that's quite steep for two people having a slice of cake there (not like we're hosting a party). Anyway if you want to charge $10 that's fine but at least tell me at the front counter BEFORE cutting my cake so that the customer has the opportunity to choose whether or not to proceed with cutting and eating it there? Also I would think if you charge $10 then the birthday girl would at least be allowed to cut her own cake? Very upsetting...

This place makes the best coffee I have had in Adelaide and I keep going back to get more. However, there a few things that actually put me off. On Saturday the 20th of September I visited Bravo with friends to have some desserts. We usually get the Bischoff cheesecake as it is delicious, but there were only 2 pieces left on the platter which seemed stale and we decided not to. Two days later (Monday) I visit Bravo again to get my usual coffee and I check whether there is a new platter with Bischoff cheesecake, but it was again the same two pieces. I ask the person who was serving me whether they have any fresh cheesecake and their response was "This is a yesterday's cheesecake" to which I replied, I was here on Saturday and it was the exact same slices there. Their response was "I work here every day so I should know better"... Regardless the inappropriateness of the response I decided not to make a scene because I believe that one rude person should not paint a bad picture for the whole business. Today, I visited Bravo again to get my coffee and there was a new Bischoff cheesecake platter, and I immediately ordered one slice for take away. I paid $8 for small slice in the picture and also I realised that it was not cut from the new platter, rather it was a stale slice that was left over god knows since when. This is so disappointing and disturbing and an indication of the inappropriateness not only behaviour wise but how the food is...

Myself and a few friends attended Bravo for lunch a few days ago. The food was delicious and we all absolutely loved what we ordered. Unfortunately what lets this place down is the waiting service on the tables. We arrived early so we all ordered coffee/tea prior to ordering lunch. We finished our drinks and chatted for about another 45 minutes. It was obvious we had finished but our cups were all left there. We went to order our meals and then after a while when we knew our meals were probably going to come out soon we had to ask for our cups/tea pots etc to be taken away. The same thing occurred with our lunch plates. We ate our lunch and sat there for an hour after we had all finished with dirty plates in front of us. It was not overly busy on the day we were there and there was a lot of waiting staff just walking around, chatting and delivering meals. We even noticed one waitress checking her hair out for a while in her glass reflection outside the Cafe. Staff actually delivered meals to the tables right next to us and actually changed our house water bottle, delivered it and still didn't take the dirty plates. We did end up asking a waiter if they could be removed as we were sick of sitting there in front of dirty plates for so long. We were going to stay for another coffee but decided to leave. Shame about the service. Would have given this place 5 stars if the...

The high ceilings lend to a great atmosphere for a coffee catch-up with friends. Though the food shouldn't be overlooked. Today, it was the biscof tart and peach tart. The biscof gives you a good sugar hit with the white chocolate creme and the biscof layer underneath. It was a very pretty presentation, too. Kids will love it. The peach tart was moist and simply delightful. One of the coffees had cool on arrival. The staff were only too happy to bring back a hot cup. A credit to Bravo, Bravo Zulu. I've been coming here over the years, and I'm happy to make it a go to Cafe when down The Parade. On another occasion, I tried the Persian love cake. The floral aroma reminded me of that Turkish treat, a turkish delight. It wasn't too sweet, and a delight to eat with the base adding some great texture. Pink icing adorned the cake, and the musk flavour enhanced the floral syrup cake.

This is a top little cafe on The Parade, Norwood. We dropped into Bravo after a morning at the cinema for a light lunch. We were not disappointed. We sat towards the rear of the cafe in a quiet spot. The menu is extensive, and so as we wanted a light meal, there was plenty of choice. We selected a Bravo salad and a Ciabatta no.4 (vegetarian). Drinks ordered were an ice-coffee and a monkey business super smoothy. Food was delivered quickly after ordering and was delicious. Drinks were great. The monkey business smoothy was a real treat! For dessert, a yummy cannoli was ordered. Staff were friendly and efficient. If you are on or near The Parade Norwood, drop into the Bravo Cafe. You will not be disappointed.
