Buddha's Kitchen — Restaurant in Adelaide

Quite lovely interior. We were seated. waiting waiting for some 1 to return to take our order. Dung the bell on the counter. cld see staff member. just arriving thru back door..Short staffed till then? Meal came out fairly quickly.uhm Sizchuan sizzling pork. Wafer thin lean and totally dry and no pork flavour as juices long gone.Not that succulent tender texture you expect veges badly cut.not balanced cooked to oblivion. (2nd cook ?).The so called sauce.is oil based and was flooded. Terrible meal.not well prepared.nor skillfully cooked .undersized.not plated with care. my friends chicken skewers n Duck rolls. Were dry and unpleasant.But wasnt upfront to say. ! Be careful here. This is not restaurant cooking.its of a low standard from what we had. The menu is massive So how do they keep everything fresh ?.Its a small eatery.and customer base The table next to us.The rice was stuck together,crispy dry ! Dont they taste n check recipes they cook? A bit more care to ? My review is honest.We were unlucky.? so i went to pay and i didnt have to. As i did chat at our table to a lady.Iz still hungry tho n we had a deflated Dining experience no matter what. my friend was too embarrassed to say how bad it was.when asked. Nor Can he be contacted i tried to call manager couple times. To request he call me.back but he never...

I will say we had a great night at Bhuddas Kitchen. Just expected alot more than delivered....but almost every dish was magnificent. Very beautiful food that was good. One dish we had was very poor after all the other magnificent food. Battered (Grilled)Chicken in Plum wine Sauce. It had been re-cooked I'm sure of it. The toilet had people leaving the restaurant and heading out into the carport and down the side of the restaurant. The lighting was on high all evening....and there was ONE watress/waiter. It just wasn't up to the standard of the food. Honestly...the food is why people go out to eat. Despite our gatherings effort together having a good time, and despite the food,the event left me with a bad taste...

If I could give 6 stars I would. Fantastic little intimate Thai themed restaurant. The service was very friendly and honest, there is a great selection of different style dishes, also selections for those with allergies. The wine/alcohol list is decent given the size of the restaurant with quality selections. The food is to die for, coukd tell they use fresh ingredients and the meals come out in an efficient time, nice and hot. The Phad Thai and Red Curry duck was delicious. We had the $99 banquet for 2 that includes plenty of food including dessert and a selection of a bottle of wine from their wine list. Definitely going back! They also...
