Café Ambra — Restaurant in Adelaide

Not even sure I am reviewing the right place. Went to Italian style resteraunt on floor below Wallis theatre in Mitcham shopping complex. My friend had Seafood Marinara which he seemed quite pleased with. I had a chicken risotto which I concede had good flavours. My complaint was that being a bit of a foodie it was obvious it had been sitting around off the heat for a while so was no longer hot and creamy like a good fresh risotto should be but instead was tepid and gluggy. On top of that I had to ask for a sprinkle of parmesan which was of ordinary quality in a shaker together with fine ground pepper rather than in a grinder as per usual. Standards have fallen from...

I love their cappuccino, iced coffee, fish and chips, tuna mornay, steak sandwich, pumpkin soup, pan cakes, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, hot dog, they have a lovely table service, the Cafe Ambra Staff are very friendly and very helpful to their customers, Brdgit and David are very nice Cafe Ambra owners.
