Curry N Hurry - Prospect — Restaurant in Adelaide

I live local to this restaurant and I've been looking for a good Indian restaurant for quite a few years that doesn't charge the earth. Well, I think I've found it! Friendly staff led us to our table. We ordered the beef vindaloo, chicken tikka masala along with rice and butter naans. Tikka masala was mind blowing. Tender chicken pieces surrounded in a well balanced creamy sauce. Capsicum and onion along with some fresh tomato was also added. Perfection. The beef vindaloo was also good. Sauce nice and thick so it clung onto the tender beef. Nice touch of fresh sliced chilli on top should you want to up the heat a little more. Naans were light and evenly cooked with a slight crispy texture around the edges. Not too thick, not too thin. Perfect! Rice was a good portion and was enough for two. I only have one slight criticism. The naans were cut up and put in a basket. I believe that they would be better served whole as I like to see the whole naan. Price was great too.What can I say? From the moment we walked into Curry N Hurry, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and attended to. They organize a table for 17 of us. The service was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation she made turned out to be spot on. Don’t know her name to mention here.

The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors, beautifully presented, and perfectly spiced. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the biryani was fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the garlic naan was fresh out of the tandoor—soft on the inside with just the right crispness. Especially the Beef roast with authenticity of Kerala spices.

We left completely satisfied and impressed. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and service so right. Highly recommended for anyone craving genuine Indian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere

I recently visited this restaurant with a friend, hoping for a pleasant dine-in experience. As vegetarians, we were immediately underwhelmed by the limited and uninspired selection of curry and bread options. We specifically requested a spicy paneer butter masala and sugar-free tea, along with the rest of our order.

Unfortunately, the paneer butter masala turned out to be a sickly sweet sauce, far from the spicy dish we anticipated. To add to the disappointment, the tea arrived lukewarm and without any sugar, despite our clear request. While the staff was polite, they seemed largely inattentive and failed to proactively address our order.
