Delhi Spice you make me happy EVERY time I visit! Subtle, yet deeply enticing flavours in each dish will have you coming back for more. And more. They do the best ever naan bread (I literally dream of the cheese naan). Always busy, they do lunch specials and have three eat-in banquet options. Delhi Spice is run by a dedicated and skilful family who really know how to turn customers into loyal devotees. The patriarch could seriously cook the pants off any fancy competitor. It's an authentic and unpretentious experience with friendly, helpful service. Oh and do try the onion baji. And good to know is that the entire menu is GLUTEN FREE with the exceptiin of the naan bread!!!

So disappointing this used to be my favorite Indian take away joint before I went overseas and it has gone severely downhill. I rocked up late at 9am and they were busy cleaning the kitchen to order take away and asked for butter chicken and lamb korma with medium to hot spice both were bland and watery and not creamy at all. I asked for samosas and got no tamarind dipping sauce. The guy said it would be 20 mins and it was ready in around 5 to 10 indicating they likely just nuked it in the microwave. Just overall a real shame the standards have dropped so much. Makes me not really wanna go back maybe it's under new ownership but still.........

Quite good. Food is always nice. We ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masala, Saffron rice and a garlic Naan bread. It took half an hour for our order to arrive which was longer than expected, but they seemed very busy, and the portion sizes weren't that big. However they were enough for two people. It cost us about $40 for two people including a fruit juice which was reasonable. Overall pretty happy.

I believe that my comment is fair and reasonable and is wholly based on my experience of 27th August, 2013 regarding a pick up order that I placed at this restaurant at approximately 6:10pm to be picked up around 6:55pm.

My spouse collected the order and paid for it. The order was completely wrong. Called restaurant and spoke to same person who placed the order. He initially called out the order and confirmed with him that it was the wrong order. I repeated my order and asked what happened. He advised me that my order was the only pick up that they had that evening and asked me to wait whilst he checked.

After getting back to me, he advised me that there had been two orders under the surname, "Kelly," if this was the case, what other checks did the restaurant undertake to confirm that the customers would get the correct order?

Both my husband and I are currently suffering with sinusitis and bronchitis and, as such, asked for the order to be sent to us and the incorrect order returned at the same time. This option was rejected and I was told that I needed to attend the restaurant for the replacement. I advised that I would be placing an appropriate review on at least one website.

As at writing this, I have not received a return telephone call from the restaurant.

So, the aforementioned restaurant not only provided me with the incorrect order, as at writing this, they have also not offered to refund the $28.80 for the food even if my husband and/or I did somehow manage to make it back to the restaurant...

The worst (by a long margin) Indian food I have had in Adelaide. Tandoori Chicken was not prepared in Tandoor, rather it was heated in microwave and served. Prawns Masala seemed like they heated their tomato base (which was not cooked, barely warmed I guess) with capsicum and prawns. When I rang them to share my feedback and disappointment, I was told that I should have included a note along with my order to suggest the food should be prepared in Indian style. I guess, ordering food from an Indian restaurant, that was a given. I must say, the person on the call acknowledged the feedback and mentioned that they normally cook for non-indian clients (to appeal to Anglo palettes) and also offered to make the next order complimentary. While I appreciate the offer, I won’t be ordering from here again. This was the first and for sure...

I have never left a negative review in my life, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard when you order food.

Awful, worst butter chicken I had a take away Butter chicken curry was so bad Smells tasteless and I didn’t find the butter taste ,It was really curry tasted more like tomato soup and garlic Naan was so bad burned too.

Lamb Rogan Josh I had one of the worst Lamb Rohan Josh ever. Looked like it was stale with tasteless, Greasy gravy too much salt.

Shahi Paneer shahi paneer - paneer was very sour in taste , I never had shahi paneer with lots of vinegar.

What we were wondering was why this restaurant has such great reviews. I found only of couple of poor and terrible ones here. Really surprised!

I do not recommend this...
