The worst dining experience of my long lifetime. Basic Hospo 101 cannot happen without the most basic training, none of the staff seemed to have any. The waitress was clueless and told me I can add cori or chilli to my dish. We ordered 3 entree and 3 mains. We were 1 of 2 tables in an empty room at 6pm. As always I ask fo all entrees, then all mains at same time, Asian places this never happens given chef cannot do the most basic sequencing so meals arrive together. 1 entree came 10 mins later, I remind them. 2 mains came out and were sent back as..still only had 1 entree. Waited for 2 more entries, wait 20 mins and asked again and am told "we are doing all the Uber and take away first" Waited 10 more minutes, remember we are 1 of 2 tables on a Friday night. 9 After almost 40 mins and only 1 entre being served we up and left, paid only for 2 drinks, refused to pay for any thing else. We went next to The Strand and had excellent meals. In summary Indochine a once great Glenelg institution has been ruined by clueless owners employing clueless staff but worse were the chefs who simple cannot bring 3 entrees and 3 mains together at the same time. I imagine only a matter time before the doors close. Solution for the owners who may be reading this. Employ a consultant chef for 6 weeks to get that place...

BEWARE ENTERTAINMENT CARD HOLDERS - The manager of this restaurant refused to honour the 25% of the total bill discount as per the Entertainment Book, He said we didn't spend enough and we should go and read the rules of the book. As the service was already Bad I wasn't going to argue with him. I reported him to the Entertainment book who took 6 weeks to get my discount and it is a credit to the Entertainment Book that they took a stand and diligently followed it up. I also reported him to my Credit Card company and said that he wrongfully overcharged my and the also followed this up. After being a regular supporter of the Entertainment Book and its Restaurants for the last 5 years so that i can support "Juvenile Diabetes Association" it has left a sour taste in my mouth. All I can say is if this happens to you, don't let it ruin your night out. REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY TO BOTH THE ENTERTAINMENT BOOK AND TO YOUR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER. As for Indochine at Glenelg....If you cant honour your Entertainment Book voucher don't list yourselves in the book. I would much prefer to pay full price than be exposed to this...

Needs so much improvement. First off. Went for a party of twelve. They made two tables for 12. Sat half of us at one and the half at the other. We figured out the others weren't late but in another part of the restaurant. Entrees were ok. No a crazy amount of flavour and presentation was poor. Mains all came out one by one or by twos. Some people had finished when others were still waiting for food. Someone people had multiple items ordered and also got them at random times, my small rice was placed at the other end of the table 10 minutes before my Main. Not well organised and the plates/bowls need an upgrade.

My main meal was delicious. The char grilled kangaroo. I choose that from another review.

Can't understand the waitresses who used masks. I had to yell out to my table when the food arrived. It was very quite for a Friday night. Massive hole in the wall on the way to the bathroom.

This place could use a genuine professional review to change things up and figure out where they are going wrong or this business might be closed down in...

I loved it. We went quite late on a weeknight so it wasnt very crowded. Overall the prices were good, the portions were REALLY GOOD. We were 3 people, and 2 of us were major big backs and we STILL couldnt finish it all. We got 1 laksa noodle soup, 1 bbq noodles and i forgot what the last one was but maybe just ask the staff and theyll let u know. It was some sort of thai fried rice. The best part was the fact that they used real thai herbs and spices in the thai dishes to really give it that authentic flavour. OVERALL: 8/10

Worst food ever! Fried rice tasted like its been cooked with tomato sauce and boiled scallops. Roast pork was nothing like a Thai dish at all. Kuey teow was so wet to even call it a stir fry. Spent $70 for these 3 dishes. Terrible atmosphere, terrible seating, not a good service and I don’t see the value that I paid for. I should have taken the extra walk to get better food. I do not recommend! And never again will I come back.
