The Beachouse has been the go to place for anyone going to glenelg and for good reason too, there's lots of stuff to do while there, I've been there plenty of times and while it's a good place to hang out I do see some issues that should be fixed.

The place itself has a good atmosphere and the staff are quite friendly and can help out in a pinch, as far as the big attractions, the main focus is the waterslides which are fun to ride and are well maintained, there's also boats and bumper cars you can ride as well, I personally found the bumper cars more fun but that's just me, there's also mini golf which is affordable and fun, the carousel is alright though I never see myself going back on after the first time.

There's a cafe with a good menu and is fairly affordable although since this is glenelg there's plenty of options nearby if What you're looking for is not there.

Now here's where the issues lie since I feel this part needs a few things fixed which is the arcade, the space is spread across 2 floors which is really nice and as far as cabinets go there's a good variety BUT while we have good stuff like after burner climax, pinball tables and even a DDR whitecab, there's also stuff like, guitar hero which is unfortunately unplayable due to the buttons being worn out, there's Initial D cabs which would be really cool if they weren't bootleg cabs that play terrible and stacker with some prizes that aren't good.

Also DDR only lets you play 2 songs per credit compared to 3 in other locations though that might be a good thing because It Is HUMID in there, I played a credit and I was sweating after the first song from the humidity. At least it has eamuse support. The arcade prices are also a bit too expensive with some games being way more expensive than they need to be.

Overall it's an ok place but the arcade needs some fixing which is why I can only recommend this place for everything but the arcade machines, you'll have a good time for everything there but be aware of the flaws...

Such a rip off!!! Poor value. Two kids 7 and 9. I asked if any holiday specials. Told no. I said I don’t know how it works and how much for the games . Girl says well what do you want to do. I said I don’t know have never been here. She tells me go look around and come back. So I do look around then decided to sit down and google and look at pricing and info on the website as the staff member was not helpful. Decided to get two cards and put & put $50 on each card thinking that should last for a while and the boys will have a card each. They charged $4 for the plastic cards I will never use again. An hour later $104 wasted did mini golf and dodgems and few games most of which are very old take your credit and then games don’t work. At the end I Asked what prizes the kids have won playing the games I got told nothing as only the games downstairs give tickets for prizes. Why was I not pro actively told that??? I returned the plastic rubbish cards and asked for my $4 back and I was told the cards cannot be returned!!! Such a blatant rip off and untrained young kids staff that are not trained to be helpful and explain how to get the best value there. My 7 year old went on dodgem cars. He had trouble as the car was facing wrong direction from start. He could not get the car to go the right way and the staff member did not even attempt to help him. So he just sat in the car whilst it barely moved the whole ride and others bumped into him. He cried after it. I do not blame the young staff as this is poor training and poor management. My Kids were disappointed with the overall experience and that they did not get any prizes. Both stated zone bowling more fun and they win prizes there. So much cheaper there for a half day of fun including food. Zone bowling is way better value and the games work. Will not return...

Super expensive!! Pack your own food as the food in the Beach House is overpriced, cheap quality/pre frozen junk and drinks are just as expensive..

Went for the lock in for the Harry Potter event, menu was ridiculously priced (for what rhe food/drink actually is made of - example: just spider style drink was like $8!!). We didn't even receive the free drinks or plate on arrival - even if we did ask, staff weren't very helpful to discuss why? They simply said "You're not eligible for it" - no real reason, even if we'd bought tickets online and in the description it stated we get the drinks and plate of food.. still wondering why we were discriminated by the young stuff, who didn't even try to get a manager out to discuss it.. for this reason I'd definitely advise you check your tickets on what you're "really going to get" rather than treat people like that when they believe their tickets will get them what was stated on the event description - so not very fair or nice to get told you can't have what others had, despite our tickets saying otherwise.

Staff were nice, but I still don't know how it's managed to stay in business, especially with the ridiculously high ticket prices and food - which most you can make yourself or buy junk from a better place.. Checked it off my bucket list - but unless reality sets in with management, you'll...

I’ve experienced Beach House with my own friends, with over 100 children at a time with OSHC and with my 3 year old. This place is stimulating! My son and I love lights and noise so it was great for us! The merry go round was an accessible and enjoyable option for him, I was able to join him for no extra charge and he had a lot of fun on there! He was also desperate to try an arcade game and was convinced that it was him making all of those hoops 😉 I think that the place could do with a bit of an upgrade, a big clean and some new paint? Being by the ocean means that it probably gets damaged quicker than other places though.

Big place with lots of things to do such as ticket arcade games, slides, a jungle gym for kids, a carousel and a small train ride. There are some classics such as dance dance revolution and stacker. The mini golf course is pretty good. My 2 favourite games are the Dunk N Alien as you can get loads of tickets and the mini golf. The place can be pretty crowded depending on when you go. It can get pretty loud when there’s a lot of people there. When I went there, I ended up spending $49 as it’s $10 for mini golf and $39 for 20 ticket arcade games. I spent around 2 hours in total between the arcade games and mini golf.

Really disappointed by this place. We went to go for $39 10-12 package but decided to do $41 package of games because kids wanted prizes & former package doesn’t include. For 41 per person you would expect a fair bit, but after buying I found our actually only downstairs gives you tickets. Then, some of the ones downstairs are not included so actually it’s really low amount of games you can play for $40 (like 10 that would give you tickets. Rip. Go to Timezone. Ps - don’t play the one below. You have 1% chance of getting a lollie and the instructions aren’t in English.
