So I thought Iâd give maccas Salisbury another shot. Iâd probably shouldnât have bothered. Some of you may know the layout of the car park. I parked in the two car parks nearest to the Chinese restaurant, and left my mother who is elderly and has dementia in the car with her puppy with the intention to be in and out quick. I get to the main doors - oh goody, someone has broken the horizontal bar/handle on the right hand door, and theyâve locked the doors. So now I have to walk around to the other side of the restaurant along a very narrow path that could be hazardous for children with cars within extreme close proximity. Of course the argument is âparents should watch their childrenâ I guess... I stand in the area waiting to be called to have my order taken. Waited and waited and waited. Finally a female crew trainer calls out to one of the crew in the dining area to take my order. She calls me over to one of the self serve menu boards and takes my order there. I asked why it wasnât taken at the front counter, she replied that âit was easier for the crewâ. Ok no problems, except future customers were served at the front counter...consistency?? I didnât time it, but I waited ages for my food. I will honestly say that the crew seemed more interested in packing Uber eats orders than preparing food for customers who were actually in the restaurant. There were cloths and debris on the counter. I took photos but couldnât upload with this review. Positives to finish on a high: the girl who served me kindly opened the door for me for my trek right around the building back to the car. That was nice. The food tasted good, no complaints there. Biggest win - my mum fell asleep in the car waiting for me for so long rather than exiting the car and walking to god...
Read moreâźď¸âźď¸Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE â ď¸â ď¸ Ordered 2 burger meals through drive thru, was made to wait in waiting space for good 10 minutes in a hot day even though the restaurant was not busy in the morning. One meal was missing chips. I spotted it, went back to store and asked for it. The wait and having to go to store to get the "forgotten" chips defeated the purpose of ordering through drive thru. After I left restaurant and opened my burger, the sauce was everywhere - on the walls of box, outside the burger and on top of bun but not in between patty and bun. Had to lick sauce from the walls of the box. And I had the chance discovery that without the sauce, burger's patty and bun doesn't taste anything like Maccas. McSpicy didn't even have sauce, no kidding. I was so furious. I'm writing to let people know this is NOT one-off unfortunate incident, they take advantage of drive thru customers and not take any reasonable time/due diligence or have respect for the food they are preparing for someone to EAT. Drive thru order is almost always prepared without a regard or respect in the form of giving nicely prepared burger, leaving customers with bad experience and feeling neglected. If you're planning to eat in-store than this is okay store but for drive thru order, please find another store or else your burger will look like they were practicing throwing buns and patty to get them into the box. They are probably told NOT to spend time to prepare drive thru orders because customers won't have chance to complain, so your burger is almost sure to look like a vomit 𤎠in a box, especially true for drive...
Read moreThis store has a major issue with speed of service, quality of food. Management needs to re-evaluate these key issues and mediate. As a regular on a Saturday morning around 9am with others we have witnessed and experienced the decline in this store. A sports class is 1 hour across the road and yet we order on maccas app and repeatedly over several months every weekend at the same time window, our orders take 40 plus minutes to come out which is usually a coffee from McCafe and 3 hashbrowns. Coffee is burnt, Luke warm, hashbrowns stone cold. How? please, I would like to know? In the end our group ended up asking for a refund. Stock standard excuses and blaming busy period and claiming it's a rarity. It's not a rarity it happens every weekend and multiple other parents from the kids classes have commented on this. After the shocking service, lack of service and refund, we went to Saint road Mc Donald's and the difference was night and day. Customer service exists there, they promptly brought out meals that were fresh and steaming hot, no burnt coffee. The store was clean and they kept up with both drive thru, uber eats, app orders and counter orders. We witnessed no annoyed customers, except heard praises from other customers sitting across from us. They got 5 stars from me. You have lost majority of business from this parents sports school as others are also seeking...
