I just wanted to give a shout-out to the amazing staff at the Mediterranean tonight, Thursday the 25th of September. I was there from around 6:30-8:30 PM, and the food was absolutely spectacular. The halloumi, Arancini and garlic bread were a perfect 10/10. For my main course, the Moroccan Eye Fillet Salad was absolutely fabulous. My mum and friend loved their meals as well. This is definitely top-quality food that truly stands out from the rest. It was honestly such a great dining experience, and I can see many people feel the same way, judging by how packed the restaurant was. I must give special recognition to one particular waitress who took our orders and looked after us throughout the evening. She was incredibly attentive - nothing was too difficult (and we have fussy orders!). She said "nothing is too hard" with such a wonderful, can-do attitude. The Mediterranean is absolutely blessed to have this staff member Charlie. She made our dining experience an absolute joy, checking on us, ensuring everything was okay, and making sure our orders were correct. I simply had to write this review 💯 it would be a crime to not acknowledge this particular worker. Without going into too much detail, at the end of our dinner my mum had quite a terrifying health scare, becoming unconscious twice. It was completely frightening, but I wanted to mention how all the staff handled the situation and assisted us - it was a true reflection of what an amazing team you have. While this review isn't primarily about that incident, I did want to acknowledge how professionally and compassionately they all responded. Well done, Team Mediterranean! Much love 💕 Tawny x

My friend and I went here twice in one week - once for coffee, and once for a late lunch . The coffee is good - they use Rio , but they have their own blend made for them . Very chocolaty/ caramel notes - I must admit that’s my favourite type . The afternoon visit we had the trip of dips and the warm bread - the pita was gluten free but it tasted like normal pita ( not like cardboard) and it was such a treat . They do happily cater to dietary restrictions ( in my experience), so just ask . For the late lunch , I had the special - which was the crispy pork belly with Adelaide hills apple cider , and an apple purée - the apples tasted sweet and tart - and a lovely radicchio salad , which had a lovely addition of orange segments and flakes almonds , which gave it an added texture. The pork crackle was perfectly crunchy by the meat was so juicy and sweet . My friend had the Angus porterhouse steak on a bed of marscapone mashed potatoes- she completed demolished it . Her only complaint was that there was no greens that she could order on the side , as it would have rounded out the meal . Water is delivered to the table , and the service is efficient and friendly . The restaurant has a lovely relaxed atmosphere - there is both indoor and outdoor seating and on the second time we went , they had opened up the glass doors to let the afternoon breeze inside . It is also open for dinner - so may have to make a return visit.

What a morning blast!
This place has been amazing since my very first visit five years ago, and it just keeps getting better! Their breakfast options are absolutely mouthwatering, whether you're craving something sweet, spicy, or savoury. Every bite is seriously worth it. The service is always excellent too and super welcoming even when the place is packed. Plus, it’s a very kid-friendly restaurant, which makes it even more special! Here’s my must-try list: • Food (breakfast):
Eggs Salmone is the perfect choice if you're looking for something hearty to kickstart your morning, with perfectly cooked eggs that are deliciously gooey. The Blue Swimmer Crab & Chilli Scrambled Eggs are a must for spice lovers. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, their cake selection and Nutella French Stack are absolute heaven and a big hit with the kids too! • Drinks:
Their latte and mocha are absolute must-haves, perfectly brewed and so satisfying. I can't recommend this place enough!

Theres a lot i have to go through here, I'll start at 5 stars and go down from there.

No lunch foods past 5pm [-0.5 stars] The whole system of different foods for different times is fundamentally flawed. Food lovers come here for a burger dinner only to realize that they arent allowed after 5pm. Same for pizza and more.

Charged extra for food we didnt order [-0.5 stars] We asked for fish amd chips (but chips are replaced with veggies) for the kid but we got charged for both veggies and chips.

Had loud millenials sat next to us [cant really minus for that] They were so loud that I couldnt hear my angry birds at max volume.

Odd menu layout [-0.5 stars] The menu was slightly confusing. A 'salad' we ordered was 4 eye steaks with salad, which although stated that the salads contained the steaks, I feel it would just be easier if it was classified as a steak dish.

Claustrophobic area and small tables [-0.5 stars] I understand you can't really change the size of the building, but having larger tables would be nice. Most restaurants I visit have increadible small tables and larger ones would be nice.

I hate being critical of restaurants and I hope this feedback might help this establishment in the future. And just because I marked it as 3 stars (total), it doesnt mean i didnt like the food. I quite liked the food. I especially liked the atmosphere and the outdoor(ish) area that had tarp windows, which made it feel like outside, but also inside as well. I'd also like to quickly mention, the low service rating isn't because of the staff, they were wonderful persons.

Thanks for reading, and I hope...
