Australia's best almond croissant and chai latte.

Croissant is buttery and flaky - but with plenty of structure unlike many croissants that fall apart as you eat it - and filled with almond, the texture and taste are both the best I've found. The chai is very traditional, you can taste all the spices, the most flavourful and best example of what a chai should be. The price altogether is very reasonable for the superior quality.

The dark rye bread is my favourite, dense and moist, excellent consistency, always incredibly fresh. Works with all spreads but has it's own noticeable flavour too.

The atmosphere of the venue is incredibly charming, very soft and cosy. Feels like you're in a friend's house.

Only downside is sometimes they run out of stock and close before the time listed on Google. Should either make enough to last at least half an hour before the closing time, or list their closing time back by half an hour.

That said, if you come in during the middle of a shift, you will never be disappointed...

So disappointed! Retuning customers arrived at 12.15pm knowing that closing time is 1pm raced in to grab a couple of pasties and coffee but alas was told coffee machine was off and cleaned already.? Were told we couldn't sit inside has was to late for inside dining?? Went outside to sit in the outdoor area but seriously the tables looked as if they had not had a wipe down in months and chairs even worse!! I don't understand such a great place yet service so bad maybe instead of the staff being in a hurry to go home take a cleaning cloth and maybe a vacuum and give the place a good clean up inside and out and maybe teach the staff some manners!!...

Croissant is too dense (like bread) and just similar to the below average Coles packed ones. The coffee is definitely below average (although I not a coffee pro but could realise) , not comparable to any other cafe's coffee in Adelaide. There is a big difference between authentic vintage atmosphere and what you see there. The cafe and tables are not clean, sugar in open containers on tables and dusts on the carpets. A cafe can look vintage but be clean. This is not one of them. Not really sure why people rank high on such place. This makes Google reviews inaccurate...
