moongarden pizza bar — Restaurant in Adelaide

Given some thought last Friday i had an awful experience here, the manager kept aggressively shouting at the like 14 year old staff and being incredibly ignorant and nasty to people ordering on the phone expecting us to know already that they were supposably "busy" when i got there it was dead quiet with only two people eating in. I ordered 2 pizzas and an arancini, one was barely covered with ingredients and doughy, but the other was the best pizza i ever had. I saw a rat run past in the back room and there was clutter everywhere. It honestly was just a very gross place and there was old blankets and laundry everywhere. I think the owner needs to hire more managers and be better to the staff, when i was leaving one was wiping her eyes outside. I bet the owner will blame me for this like she did with everyone else who posted an honest rating. Sad owner could do a lot better. :( There was a really tall nice older staff though, i think he made the atmosphere a lot better and was cheering...

Totally lived up to all the great things I'd heard about this place. Right from the moment we walked in we felt welcomed with the lovely owner Tam I think her name was greeting us warmly and seating us. We had warm olives and goats curd with pita bread to start with a lovely Shiraz. Followed by 2 of the best pizza's I've had in a very long time...oh my gosh perfect crust and perfect amount of toppings. There was 3 of us and we devoured it all...and lucky us it happened to be the Almond Blossom Festival so we got to eat our dinner sipping wine watching fireworks out the window. Honestly this place is so cosy and rustic with a great warm and friendly vibe we're locals from Moana and this will be our new go to pizza restaurant...we also couldn't resist getting some takeaway tiramisu and I can confirm it's delish. This hidden gem was the best find! The atmosphere was inviting and intimate which drew us in, we were then greeted by the owners and other friendly staff. The food... Where do I begin.. Firstly you could smell the most delicious ingredients which made us want to try everything. We started with the arancini which was perfect, it had it all going. Then we tried a pepperoni pizza and a lamb pizza which were packed with flavour and I couldn't pick which I loved most. Despite already feeling full we ate it all and couldn't pass up the tiramasu which was also to die for. I highly recommend giving these guys a go, you won't be disappointed.
