Beautiful high tea spot down in Willunga. The staff were very hospitable and friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. We had a large group of 11 people, and they sat us comfortably in a private corner, and the Cafe had good enough acoustics that we could all hear each other well! The Cafe was well decorated, with cute and comfortable seating and beautiful teaware. We loved their pink lemonade. The savoury options were great in the high tea, though we would have preferred more of them and less of the sweets - only a personal preference given that we weren't massive sweet tooths. The lemon tart was probably our favourite amongst the desserts. The only tea option we were offered was Queens breakfast - which tasted like an English breakfast, though it would have been nice to have other options to choose from as well. Booked in for High Tea as a surprise for my Mum in Law, my husband accompanied us, we were welcomed by Sharon & seated at a beautifully set table. Gorgeous vintage chinaware, pink lemonade, unlimited pots of tea & a 3 tier sumptuous high tea selection, including mini hand made quiches, beautiful fresh finger sandwiches, home made scones with jam & fresh cream, then the exquisite variety of petite cakes, cream horns, cup cakes, eclairs, macarons, cheesecakes, this is one of the best High Tea experiences including overseas. We had the wonderful honour of celebrating our Mums 80th birthday High Tea, at Tealicious Cakes. Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely staff, who were all so very friendly, and treated us all so beautifully. We were served with a no end amount of a very refreshing pink lemonade, and the Queens breakfast tea, which was served in stunning vintage tea cups. The 3 tiered stands that was carried out to our table was full of delicious sweet and savoury food, that was all baked fresh that morning. To top off our celebration the beautiful staff bought out a 80th birthday cupcake and sang happy birthday to our Mum.
