This is exactly what I look for in a eatery. The menu catering for everyone but not too busy, consistency, Qualitaly of every dish, freshness of all ingredients, quantity, quality of food much better value and some than the price point and staff that interact well with their customers.

Starting with quality, quantity and consistency and the ragu gnocchi that I had multiple times prior to trying anything else on the menu, consistency was 👌 everytime. I actually had this dish a couple of times and wanted to try something else but the flavours of this dish were hard to go past, I also wanted to see if Qualitaly was one of the rare places that could deliver a standard in quality everytime..Well they definitely do along with large portions. I would suggest leaving entrees(although they are delicious) off your order or taking the deserts home (tiramisu is a must try)

The freshness of entrees, mains and deserts is all outstanding. From fresh tomatoes, herbs and proteins including seafoods and all the way thru to the best tiramisu experience you could hope for.

Price point for everything mentioned. I've paid a lot more at places that don't have consistency, the fresh touch of produce or deliver quality food that you will enjoy at Qualitaly. This is definitely good value.

Finally the staff interaction with us and the kids. Kids can be a handful when eating out but the staff have great stories of their way of life, their time on the farm, the produce and procedures and giving the kids ideas for simple recipes they can make at home.

Thanks for your service in creating a quality eatery with consistency of the best and being price friendly...

Coming from an Italian background, and growing up in SA, the go-to for Italian food (namely; pasta) has been mostly fast food based with other restaurants, even Italian restaurants, diluting their cuisine with other stuff.

This place is different. The chef evidently cares a great deal about the food, when I was served at 5pm in the evening he had just come out the kitchen with flour on his apron from making a fresh batch of his homemade gnocchi (which is better than my Auntie Rosas).

The quality of ingredients is second to none, you can actually taste the tomatoes in the sauce, and the parsley gives it a wonderful freshness, pair that with their chilli oil made with fresh chillies and some peccorrino or parmigianno reggiano and you've got a well portioned plateful (bowlful) of heaven.

The ariancini balls were out of this world, it wasn't full of mozzarella like most other places, where it overpowers the entire ball, nor was it just rice being a plain dry mouth full. It was the perfect balance of perfectly cooked aborio, with the perfect ratio of delicious mozzarella, and the mushrooms added that nice texture and slight juiceness that just complemented the entire dish.

I literally cannot recommend this place enough. The service was impeccable, the chef has a genuine desire to deliver the highest quality Italian cuisine Adelaide has to offer.

As a vegetarian, finding a restaurant that offers a wide variety of delicious meat-free options can be a challenge. However, my recent visit to Qualitaly left me utterly impressed and satisfied. This establishment has truly mastered the art of vegetarian cuisine, offering a delightful dining experience for herbivores and omnivores alike.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The menu boasted an impressive array of vegetarian dishes, showcasing the chef's creativity and passion for plant-based cooking. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, ensuring a balance of flavours and textures that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The presentation of the food was as impressive as the taste, with vibrant colours and beautiful plating that reflected the chef's attention to detail.

The knowledgeable and friendly staff at Qualitaly were more than willing to accommodate dietary preferences and answer any questions about the menu. Their passion for vegetarian cuisine was infectious, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience.

Whether you're a dedicated vegetarian or simply seeking a meat-free culinary adventure, Qualitaly is a must-visit. With its exceptional vegetarian offerings, impeccable service, and commitment to quality, this restaurant has undoubtedly earned its place as a haven for vegetarian...

Seeing the astronomically good reviews for qualitaly I knew I had to get myself down there and try what they had on offer. We booked ahead as this place is essentially packed every day. The staff are a class act. Oozing with passion and pride for their heritage. It's a joy hearing them explain the composition of lesser known dishes on their menu. When the food landed on our table I was hit with mixed emotions. It's clear lots of care is put into the food, but it didn't sit well with my palette. The lasagna was delicate and tasty, but it was missing bechamel. Its inclusion is based on region though so I can't really put a strike against it for that. That said, the tomatoes used for it were quite sour and not enough was done to balance the flavour so it ended up being too acidic. We also ordered a lamb ragu, which would have been divine if it wasn't for the overwhelming flavour of the meat which was bordering on being mutton. Since it's an Italian restaurant there is a decent premium attached to the cuisine inherently. There were definitely dishes that are worth trying like some of the mushroom flavoured pastas and risottos. I think the price paid compared to what you get in isolation is difficult to rationalise, but the staff are truly a pleasure to be in the company of so I'd still recommend visiting at least once.

I recently visited this cozy Italian restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The place was buzzing with energy and clearly popular — so I highly recommend booking in advance, as it gets fully booked quickly. Always best to double-check with them before arriving to avoid disappointment. The food was absolutely spot-on. I tried the lasagna, burrata with cherry tomatoes, and a rich seafood pasta dish that was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned — exactly the kind of indulgence you’d hope for in a classic Italian meal. The lasagna was hearty and comforting, with a generous cheese topping and layers that held together beautifully. The burrata was creamy and fresh, paired wonderfully with basil and sweet cherry tomatoes. Everything felt fresh and made with care. The atmosphere was warm and inviting — perfect for a relaxing meal with family or friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations and making us feel right at home. I also had the tiramisu, which was very good — light and creamy. Personally, I would’ve loved a slightly stronger kick of rum, but it was still well-balanced and satisfying. Overall, it’s a lovely, authentic spot with great service, a cozy setting, and rich, comforting food. I’ll definitely be back — and next time, I’m booking ahead for sure!

Just one word....AMAZING! My partner and I have been at Qualitaly quite few times now and the food and service keep getting better and better! Last time we had one garlic bread to share, 2 pastas and the delicious panna cotta with passion fruit. I actually made the picture of the pastas after we started eating, I couldn't wait a second before tasting it! My partner opted for gnocchi w spinach and pumpkin sauce, while I asked to have the risotto pumpkin and gorgonzola but w gnocchi instead. I feel my stomach rumbling only to think about it again! I almost forgot to say that our dinner was accompanied by an excellent wine. Both Sergio, the owner and Anthony are very good at suggesting the wine to enjoy with your meal. Sergio is very accomodating with your food requirements, sometimes you don't even need to ask, as the menu has already a big variety of choices. Last but not least, many of the goods used to make these delicious meals comes from Sergio's homegrown garden! Few weeks ago there was bruschetta with tomatoes and basil on the week specials...both tomatoes and basil were from Sergio's garden....no need to say more! We don't live very close to Qualitaly but 100% it is worth the trip and we will keep going there to enjoy the food, wine and the friendly atmosphere!
