Absolutely superb. A very clean tidy little restaurant. I shall be back.

13.3.22. I have been back three times since my first review. I must confess the food just keeps getting better. And the service From the most bubbly pleasant waitress ( kate ) you could possibly come across served me each and every time. It made my food taste even better

Its the 23.3.22 Wednesday afternoon. I was working in Hyde Park again. I went to my favourite dumpling Asian restaurant. I had my usual 12 pieces of fried dumpling for lunch. With my chilli oil and soy sauce. And washed down with a beautiful Tsingtao Asian beer. Hmmmm.

Its the 28.5.22 I tried the Silk Lamb Rib. It tastes as good as the name is pronounced. It melted in my mouth like silk. Been from a Greek background. We were raised on lamb. Lamb Yiros lamb roast charcoal lamb

But this tops it all. It is by far the best lamb dish I have ever tasted ever. Compliments to the chef...

Booked for four people 20min ahead of arriiving.

Waited for 20min table service to order. Sourced our own water from fridge. Other tables returning food & drinks that were incorrect. After another 20 min requested prawn crackers for something to eat.

Uber & phone orders flying out the door as a priortiy.

Significant language barrier with only 1 single wait staff on the front of house. Frequent misinterpretation of orders & drinks.

Some of the food was good, remainder not so.

If there was a staff shortage, our booking should have been declined especially if customer experience is part of the business model.

Our drinks were confused & served over 20min. Waited & waited for table service to order & food served as individual meals - basically 4 peope at the table not eating meal together. Cocktails on menu but not available. Food item on menu but not avaiable.

An unsatisfactory evening & will not return...

After reading previous reviews, we made a reservation through messaging and was surprised that the place wasn't crowded when we arrived. Maybe we were early, cos there were only another table occupied when we arrived, but the restaurant was almost half full when we left. Having also read about the mixed reviews of the xiaolongbao, we decided to try it out and I must say it was the most disappointing dish among all the other dishes we ordered. It was a little too dry and oversteamed. But it wasn't like it's awful. Maybe just our expectations when it comes to xlb. The stew beef was the highlight of the night and resulted in me finishing almost the entire bowl of rice, which I usually don't. The chicken with veg was tasty as well, and we would love to try the beef hor fun, but sadly did not have extra diners or stomach to order more dishes. Will definitely be back with more helpers to taste the other dishes...
