Beautiful decor and delicious food. I have the seafood basket. It was delicious, full of flavour and filling. If you like your squid to be tender, this is the venue for you. The salt and pepper squid was more on the salty side but still satisfying. Kitchen used rock salt and cracked pepper which gives a little more intensity than the regular bistro style dining. Do dip into their tartare sauce. The dill in sauce helps strike the balance. The prawns were panko crumbed and sweet. The plate is large and presentation was pleasing. My actual food rating is 4.5 stars. (Google needs to give community reviewers an option to a half star rating.) They take pride in what they do. Small bar with a big range of beer and wine with focus on craft brewing and Australian wines. If you're the designated driver and feeling like being a big kid, they make a fantastic pub style raspberry lemonade. There's ambulant/wheelchair access access to the bistro via ramp and elevator. Fans of house plants and gardens, this is the place for you. The staff are friendly, professional and hard working. Excellent table service. Tech savvy and don't want to wait for staff to take your order? There's a QR code and tap-to-pay option on the table. You can order and pay at your convenience. The waiting staff will bring your order to you. Mid priced but worth those extra dollars to enjoy the delicious food and ambiance.

LOVELY LUNCH OUTING WITH MY SON PETER ON A COSY DAY TO BE INSIDE BEING WAITED ON BEING COOKED FOR SERVED BY LOVELY WHENCHES AND FEASTING. THE TEA TREE GULLY HOTEL AS I CALL IT HAS BEEN RECEIVING OUR FAMILY PATRONAGE FOR OVER 50 PLUS YEARS. I HAD MY 50 th BIRTHDAY PARTY HERE AND HAVE A NICE MONPARGE OF IT ON MY L' ROOM WALL. I' M 68 NOW. AS CAN BE SEEN BY MY PHOTOS WE HAD LOVELY SIDE BALCONY 4 PERSON TABLE FOR THE 2 OF US UNCROWDED BY OTHERS SOUROUNDED OUTSIDE BY HEALTHY PALMS AND VEGITATION. DRISSLY RAIN šŸŒ§ļø SPLASHING šŸ’¦ OUTSIDE. WE NEED THE RAIN HERE. ORDERED WEDGIES WITH EXTRA BOWL OF SOUR CREAM AND SWEET CHILLI SAUCE AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. FOR ME HOT SPICY PRAWN PASTA AND PETE HAD A SCRUMPTIOUS TASTINGS PLATTER. ALL YUMMY AND HARDLY ANY WAIT AS WE ARRIVED EARLY WHICH I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AND WITH NO BOOKING EITHER!! Had a family dinner here. Well, the place is okay, the meals are pretty ordinary. I ordered Salmon with broccoli and salad. However, this turned out to be one piece of "mean Salmon" pretty small for the price of $26.5. My partner ordered the porter house steak with mushroom sauce. The sauce was an absolute let down. It was just a random yukky pantry beef sauce with 3 small slices of mushrooms. Not a slight taste of the said mushroom in the sauce. My daughter had a kids schnitzel meal. Interestingly, this is an adult schitzel cut into 2 so she got one half piece. The other half sold to another customer offcourse. The meal comes with a kids ice cream. It took about 10min to get the ice cream from the kitchen to the table. Once it came, I was surprised that it didn't come in a take away cup but a glass cup. I requested for a take away cup then it was transferred into a plastic food container no spoon or tool to eat with. Please improve on your customer service. Am not sure I want to be back here in the future. Absolute waste of my money and time.

Came here in January for my birthday dinner… Personal experience for first time visiting this venue was great… So I suggested this place for my sister’s birthday dinner…. Now this experience was not so great…. Coming from someone who has worked in hospitality for over 4 years I thought the service was absolutely disgusting…. We had a table of about 10 people in the garden dining area, everyone had placed their order first and I was the LAST one to order out of 10 people… Now I ordered a steak that clearly was left to the side and chucked back onto the grill as I was served my meal before ANYONE who had ordered BEFORE ME. When this steak came to my table I could tell it was dry and it had just been heated back up on the grill.. I told the young boy who gave it to me and said ā€œthis is not my order, I ordered last and not even the kids meal had come out and it does not take 4 minutes from the time I ordered to cook a steak, politely asked him to take it backā€¦ā€ this young boy came back to my table with with the exact plate he had brought out 5 minutes before… Again I told him ā€œI’m sorry but I’m not eating that, it’s NOT my orderā€ my whole table agreed that it does not take 4 minutes to cook a steak that looked dry as hell and not one other person who ordered before me had got their meal… Now 5 minutes later a young lady came out AGAIN WITH THE EXACT PLATE detriment to argue with me and said ā€œit does take 4 minutes to cook a steak when we’re busy and it is yoursā€ I responded back with ā€œI’ve worked in hospitality before (I know how kitchens work) it DOES NOT TAKE 4 minutes to cook a steak and I either want a new steak or I want something else or my money backā€ the young girl walked off… 15 minutes later a steak cooked almost perfectly came out, looked nothing like the steak I was handed the first go… My mother also ordered chicken which came out STONE COLD…. This was disgusting experience for you to make your waitresses walk around with the same meal for 15 minutes and expect the customer to accept it and move on…. I felt so sorry for the young boy that had to deal with us multiple times. Kitchen staff and garden staff need to be trained better to improve a better experience for customers. I will NOT be coming back to this place after the experience I had....

My partner and I decided to eat here last Saturday, as it was late and we couldn't really be fussed cooking.

We waited in line for 5 mins to be told inside was full and we could try in the outside bar.

So we went down to the outside kitchen and found a table for two near the entrance. We ordered a steak and a schnitzel. When they arrived the steak looked charred to a crisp and the schnitzel was a soggy mess. I asked for my steak to be cooked rare, so I was expecting a cut that was juicy and practically bleeding. Not only was it overcooked, which was evident when it arrived, it tasted like old meat. I took it back to the counter and was brushed off by the waitress "I'll see what the chef will do, we're pretty busy so you'll be waiting a while, are u sure you don't just want to eat it"? I insisted that it be taken back to the kitchen and was slightly taken aback by her abrupt nature.

A waiter came back about 5 minutes later and explained "I've taken it back to the chef but he says it tastes fine, as does the manager, but we'll see what we can do I guess". That statement somehow made me feel guilty for sending food back that actually tasted off. When the waiter brought my plate back they had replaced the steak, however this one was just as burnt and again tasted just as old and was slightly chewy. I ate a few mouthfuls smothered in mushroom gravy to disguise the taste, I started feeling gassy and my stomach was churning, so I pushed the steak to one side.

My partner had eaten less than a quarter of the schnitzel, also complaining of feeling sick, I was tempted to speak with the manager, but as I had such rude customer service prior and the fact that we both felt sick, we just decided to leave and head home.

Not only was I disappointed with the food, but the way we were spoken to by most of the staff was disgusting, such a shame as this wasn't our first visit. But it will definitely...

My family brought me here for my birthday on 25th January . I hadn’t been here for years and was very excited as they used to have the BEST garlic prawns. We all ordered ( I went all out and got the most expensive steak @ $45. With prawns & garlic sauce to make it a surf ā€˜n turf ) Everyone got their meals in dribs and drabs. Mine was not coming so my brother got up to question it. Still , about a half hour later I got my food after EVERYONE had finished. They brought salad when I ordered veggies. Lovely Rachel took it back and the kitchen, they replaced it with 2 worn out, anaemic looking , wilted carrots with 2 limp,, sad broccoli strings 😱. That was ok, fine, just don’t eat them. They forgot the prawn sauce. Then what I got was absolutely disgusting and made me gag. 2 weeny prawns in a white sauce the kitchen delivered in a hissy fit. No garlic . But the final nail in the coffin was the meat! Couldn’t cut into it , was as tough as old nick. Took me til just about my next birthday to chew one piece. Went to the kitchen, girl with the red hair spat the dummy and slid the plate in an aggressive manor. No need for that in front of your customer who was polite. My sisters expensive meat was also tough. The saving grace was the shnitzels! The shnitzels were nice. Thanks to Rachel for being so lovely & all the floor staff 5 stars 🌟 āļø āļø āļø āļø Not so to the sooky lalas in the kitchen 0 stars ! .Isn’t the birthday person supposed to get theirs first, not half an hour after everyone has eaten. Rachel offered us free coffees to compensate but only my sister and I got them. We still had a good family night apart from the kitchen shenanigans . The BEST part of the food was the birthday cake my sister bought! But I will NEVER come here again … EVERRRRR. Even if it was the last place in town. Live...
