I like the dining environment as they have quite nice decoration, including a stylish bar counter, warm and modern Asian decoration, and lovely Vietnamese pendant lamps, etc. The cleanliness was good, though I still saw a few flies around, probably due to the entrance doors being opened for most of the time during their business hours.
The staff was great and nice. I felt they were welcoming us even though we just ordered simple lunch without any drink.
I love the rare tender beef fillet pho in noodle soup (Standard - $18.9). There were quite a lot of soft and delicious beef fillet slices, and the broth was so good. Though the portion of rice noodles was a bit smaller than most other Vietnamese restaurants, it's one of the most delicious pho that I ever had in Australia.
The crackling roasted pork with steam rice was very good, too. It's priced at $15.9, a bit cheaper than other Vietnanese restaurants in Adelaide CBD. If they can offer a larger bowl with a bit more rice and roasted pork, but charging a big more like $17.9 or $18.9, I would prefer to go for a bigger bowl if I am a bit more hungry.
The spring rolls were amazing, too. They were just appetisers, but unlike spring rolls made by wheat flour sheet that most other Vietnamese restaurants or Chinese restaurants do, their spring rolls were called Cha Gio, made by traditional rice paper wrapper which was very authentic and offered more crispy and crunchy for each bite.
Having considered the services, dining environment, quality of food, prices, and the dining atmosphere in North Adelaide (plus on a lovely street with the name Melbourne Street, which is my favorite Australian city and with such an unusual name "the Spot on Melbourne"), I would say overall this was a very good dining experience for me. I highly recommend this Vietnamese...

Another couple seemed disappointed as they ordered some time before us, yet we received all our order before one of them had received his. He complained of this soon after we received our order, and the staff sounded genuinely apologetic and immediately tended to his complaint, with his order brought out a few minutes later accompanied by complimentary spring rolls for the inconvenience. As far as I could tell, this seemed like it was handled well by staff, and only serves to better my favour towards this lovely Vietnamese cafe.
We ordered four pork and two tofu baos, bahn hoi, and Vietnamese iced coffees. For two, this was sufficiently filling. Next time I would perhaps forgo the tofu in favour of extra pork baos, as no fault to the tofu, but it's hard to beat...
Read moreThe food: Flavour is spot on, food is well seasoned. The only issue (But a major one) is the portion of the meat provided. I know this is a business and price for ingredients are increasing and all but come on guys... A standard rice and chicken without extra meat (Which for a child, I expected to be enough), there is like ⅓ piece of chicken thigh in it. The curry chicken rice dish my partner got, that's got 3-4 pieces of chicken and that's all. Maybe put a whole piece of chicken in it. I shouldn't need to pay extra for extra meat in order to receive what a normal portion should provide. I should be getting XL portion if I am ordering extra meat. Service and otherwise is ok, not like spectacular but nothing to complain really. Generally quite nice but just don't...
