Botanical Garden Name is a refreshing and serene experience, perfect for nature lovers and those looking to escape the city’s hustle. The garden is beautifully maintained, featuring a diverse collection of exotic and native plants, vibrant flower beds, and peaceful walking trails.

One of the highlights is the themed gardens, which showcase unique plant species and create picturesque settings, ideal for a relaxing stroll or photography. The butterfly conservatory and lush greenhouse areas are also must-sees, offering an up-close look at rare plants and wildlife.

The atmosphere is calm and inviting, with well-placed seating areas to take in the surroundings. Whether you’re a botany enthusiast, a family looking for a day out, or someone who just wants to unwind in nature, this botanical garden is a true gem. Definitely...

I can't say enough positive things about the garden's accessibility. The pathways are wide and well-maintained, making it wheelchair and stroller friendly. There are also plenty of benches scattered throughout the garden, providing ample opportunities to rest and soak in the beautiful surroundings. It's wonderful to see a space that prioritizes inclusivity and ensures everyone can enjoy the beauty of nature.

If you're looking to escape the concrete jungle and reconnect with nature, this garden is the perfect retreat. The serene atmosphere and picturesque landscapes make it an ideal place for meditation and self-reflection. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and grateful for the chance to experience such a harmonious sanctuary. Don't miss out on...

Womadelaide 2023 Sunday arvo/evening proceed another unique experience but not quite the one it used to be. Sadly Womad has lost its way, after many great years it has fallen prey to the same issues that dogged the Big Day Out. Blowing the budget on huge international names forces stakeholders to recoup funds with ridiculous ticket and drink prices and serious overcrowding. It was difficult to get anywhere through the masses of people, every stage was crowded, the lines for toilets were epic, for some odd reason the grass was above ankle height (maybe to accommodate the stampedes) and the horrible feathers were back. All of these are indications the organisers don't listen to their fans. I won't be going back next year, and if I do it will be over a...

This parkland is beautiful. Huge trees giving plenty of shade and extensive grassed areas to sit for a picnic or just watch the world go by. As dusk approached the sky above us filled with hundreds if not thousands of bats looking for their resting place for the night. It was nothing short of spectacular. Absolutely stunning. Will return again and visit just to see this sight. There is parking available close by for a fee, and wheelchair parking also. This park is close to Adelaide city and would be suitable for photo shoots, weddings, barbecues, picnics etc. Do yourself a favour and wait till dusk to see the bats.

A lot of the reviews/pics seem to confuse this site with the Botanic Gardens, but the Botanic Park is actually a separate area just north of the Botanic Gardens (and south of the Zoo). It’s more of a park setting with large areas of turf and a canopy of various trees. It’s a great place to picnic or relax and is free to enter (and appears to be open 24 hours/day). One of the main things we enjoyed were the thousands of gray-headed flying foxes (aka bats) hanging around in the trees. Such a cool sight! Nice place to visit if you’re in the area, though if you have limited time, head straight to the Botanic Gardens.
