Whisk Patisserie — Restaurant in Adelaide

This amazing cafe really needs to be seen to be believed! The display of exquisite hand- made desserts are each individual works of art and appear far too beautiful to eat. The flavour combinations are first rate and the coffee is the best on Goodwood Road. There is always a lovely selection of savoury items on display as well. What really makes this place so special is the staff. The owners, the front of house staff and the incredibly talented people in the bakery/kitchen make this place a shining light worth visiting again and again. I have had coffee a couple times here and enjoyed it. However, today I had one of their pulled pork sourdough toasted sandwiches, it was phenomenal. Very generous portions of pulled pork, carrot, microherbs, avocado, slaw and provalone cheese. The bread was delicious, soft, toasted and buttered.

Wait times can be a little long as there are only ever 1-2 staff one at once, but it is worth the wait. Coffee could also be a little stronger, however very pleasant with an extra shot.

Whisk is one of those cafe/restaurant which u will get to go , only if you are connected to locals who know good places to eat. As a regular traveller to Adelaide ..i must say it has the 'wow factor" in their meals. If you are looking for light meals with high quality ingredients and want to wow your colleagues or friends, whisk will do the job. I really liked their variety of flans.... you may like it too.
