Zeea's Eatery — Restaurant in Adelaide

I wish i could give Zeea's three and half star rating, but it is not quite possible. I went to Zeea's a couple weeks ago for brunch/breakfast. My partner ordered the dish with halloumi, pumpkin and beetroot relish and it was to die for!!! So delicious!!! I, however, decided to try the Açai Bowl - a very popular dish where I came from - needless to say my expectations were high. I was a bit disappointed to receive a dish that looked like a soup. The açai bowl suppose to have an ice cream consistency. Now, it didn't taste terrible, by consistency is very important. To be fair I haven't yet find an Adelaide venue that sells quality açai. In summary I would recommend this place - good location, good environment, good food, reasonable price, vegan/vegetarian options, but i wouldn't recommend the açai bowl. I walk in and approach the counter, I stand for a while without anyone acknowledging me, eventually a girl says to me 'I will be with you in a minute' and walks away never to be seen again. Then someone called 'Evelyn' ask me how she can "help'. I ask a few questions about some of the menu items and she gives me major brat attitude, lots of 'yeahs' and exasperation. I order, sit down and wait and wait. Eventually, I see my order sitting on the pass and watch as wait staff after wait staff walk straight past the food ignoring it. I watch for a good 10 minutes as it sits under the lamp. I then have to flag down a waitress and ask her if that's my order. It is. I was absolutely blown away! The food was sensational, the atmosphere so welcoming and the service was exceptional. Jashh the Manager was so hospitable and so so lovely. He made our experience so enjoyable, I really can't wait to go back.

I loved trying their new Spring menu, each and every dish left us wanting more. Their hand helds and mouth-watering pastries are all individually made fresh to order and the staff were so lovely and welcoming!
