Disgraceful food and service. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were looking at the menu and one of the workers asked us if we were ready. We said not yet and she instructed us to ring the bell when we were. A few mins later we were ready and rang the bell but no one came. We ended up ringing it around three times in the next fifteen mins, and that lady didn’t come. Instead there was a line was piling up behind us and two different workers came out and asked if we had ordered yet and we said no and they just went back into the kitchen??? Mind you it was not busy, there was only one guy waiting for takeaway and then a family already seated, already eating. Eventually, after that fifteen minutes, that lady from the beginning came out and took our order. Twenty minutes later we got our food and went home and realised they just chucked the pork into a bag and the sauce separately, which I found pretty peculiar. The pork was decent but the rice and dumplings were disgusting. They tasted the same as store bought frozen food from your local supermarket. My friend ended up throwing it up after. It was also very expensive, the price did not match up with the quality of the food....

I visited this shop on Thursday with my friends. We paid in cash because there was a clear sign saying there’s a 5% discount for cash payments. But after paying, we realized the discount wasn’t applied.
When we asked the staff about it, they first pretended there was no such paper. I told them clearly that we saw the sign earlier, and I even said out loud, “You just ripped the paper off!” Then suddenly, the story changed — they said the promotion had ended. But there was no mention of an end date on the sign.
I told them, “Don’t treat us like we’re just tourists. We’re Australian citizens and have lived here for over 10 years.” After that, the staff went quiet, walked away, and came back a minute later to just drop the money on our table — no explanation, no apology.
It’s really disappointing to see this kind of behavior — especially toward customers who simply expected honesty. Whether someone is a tourist or a local, this kind of service is...
Read moreAfter a long drive from Melbourne, I was in the mood for some delicious Chinese food. I received a high recommendation to try the fried kangaroo meat, and it certainly lived up to expectations. The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. However, the lobster noodle dish was a bit disappointing. I prefer the noodles to be braised for a longer period to fully infuse the flavors into the noodle. Unfortunately, they turned out a bit dry for my liking. On the bright side, the Sichuan boiled fish with salted vegetables was the highlight of the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially when paired with rice. Unfortunately, the steamed dumplings were a letdown. The meat inside was too dry, and there was a lack of white cabbage to balance the taste. To make matters worse, they served soy sauce instead of vinegar for dipping. The dough of the dumplings was also thicker than I prefer. The sour soup could have been spicier with a stronger sour flavor. Lastly, the fried prawn spring roll was just average, nothing particularly...
