Ten Koo — Restaurant in Armidale

An authentic Japanese restaurant in the heart of the Beardy St Mall! Ten Koo has a nice range of sashimi, sushi rolls and noodle soups as well as a bento box option. The fish is fresh and I can recommend both the sushi and bento box. Prices are reasonable (e.g. $10 for a bento box), especially considering the quality - the staff take good care of the preparation and presentation.

Really great, tasty food , very consistent too.

The shop is small and this means it is somewhat awkward when buying "take away", a constant feeling of being "in the way", but that's probably a good reason to eat in instead and it does provide a cosy feel.

Price wise, it's gotten more expensive over time, particularly the larger dishes. (Bento Box etc)

Just when I thought there was no hope for decent food in Armidale, I came across this place. We had the Udon noodles and Bento box and all were fine. The only downside was the fishy taste and texture of the prawn cultlets.
