Read more5 Stars is not enough, Jim and the team at Tyreright deserve all the stars in the galaxy for their straight up honesty and faultless customer service. My Suzuki Grand Vitara overheated so I took it to an owner operated service centre. I was stuck with a $300 bill and told I needed to spend a minimum of $6 to $8k on a recon engine. I drove away with a lighter purse and my car running rough.
Next stop the Kia/Suzuki Dealership where I bought it brand new for $40k in 2009. They would look under the bonnet for $154 and give a written report on what was wrong. Well no thanks, not paying $$$ to do nothing. Then without looking Suzuki estimated I would possibly be out of pocket a minimum of $10k, wow it was getting worse by the minute. I need a panadol :(
Under recommendation from my boss I went to Tyreright in Belmont. It took Jim maybe an hour or three, to get me back on the road with the overheating problem solved. Plus a few other minor adjustments here and there for a grand total of $50. And to top him up with more awesomeness he throws in a loan car for free if you desire to go shopping or catch a movie just down the road at Belmont City Forum.
I could go on and on because I am ever so grateful to him for doing the right thing by me. He could have easily said I can beat the lowest quote but he is a good old fashioned honest man. And if you aren't going here already you'd be a fool not to. He is over and above the rest and I will be telling all my friends, family and colleagues to go see Jim for all their vehicle requirements.

Read moreThe first time I tried Tyreright (for a new set of 4 tyres), the gentleman there lent me his company dual-cab ute as I only lived locally, so that I could pop home and wouldn't have to wait while he worked. I'm sure they can't do that every time, but I was blown away - getting service like that is almost unheard of these days.
More recently, copped a flat tyre and headed along to Tyreright. They took the tyre, inflated it, put it in the bath, no sign of leakage (must've just been a slow deflation), took the spare off and put the tested tyre back on. And then went, "We're not going to charge you, but come back and see us if the tyre deflates again". I stood there blinking, going, "But surely I owe you something for your time?!??!" and they said, "Nah, it's fine. On us".
I NEVER write these sorts of reviews, but as a business, these guys have re-written the book on customer service and I will never be going anywhere else. Brilliant...
