I had the worst experience Iāve ever had ordering food and it completely ruined Fatherās Day for me, my dad and sister. We ordered food from here on menu log at 6:50. When the food was supposed to arrive at 7:41 no one arrived... I waited 10 minutes before I called the restaurant and asked what time the food was arriving. From what I herd on the phone it sounded as though the order hadnāt been noticed or even cooked... The very apologetic staff member said we'd be getting a 10% discount on our next order and the food will be 20-25 mins away. Half an hour after that when the food arrived at 8:30 (We had now been waiting an hour and a half and were STARVING) we were devastated to open the bag to find the delivery driver had given us the totally wrong order and left! I had to call the restaurant AGAIN and try figure out what to do, they had to call the delivery driver to come all the way back and swap the food. When the food finally arrived and we were eating at 9pm!!! We were further disappointed to find the onion bhaji were literally just bits of deep fried onion and were soggy from sitting in their container so long.
We were all beyond upset by the whole experience to enjoy our curry which was 90% liquid gravy. The vegetable kofta had just 4 medium sized pieces swimming around in the gravy and the butter chicken was much the same.
The 10% discount for our next purchase which is obviously an advertising leaflet given to every customer in their order felt like a bit of an insulting apology so I contacted the restaurant before writing this and have been totally ignored! Will never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in to collect my order and got told it was 5 minutes away. What they didn't tell me was that they gave it to someone else and it was literally 5 minutes away from the store. With my meal AWOL from the restaurant for over 10 mins the customer returns the meal and the staff promptly try to hand me the bag of food, without so much as even checking it.
What should have happened is they should have fired a fresh meal as soon as they realised the customer had picked up the wrong meal, not make me wait for them to return it and hand me it.
If I didn't have hungry kids in the car I would have requested a refund and gone elsewhere. Instead I asked them to get me a fresh meal, but no idea if they did or just left the bag sitting there 5 mins and gave it back.
This had been our go to takeaway for a few years but this year they've been slipping and this was the straw that broke the camels back for us. Never hand out food to a customer that has left the restaurant.
They did try to make up for the error with a free can of coke though so I guess one...

Been here quite a few times over the years but this year I'm not happy. Ordered food back in January, got menu online, phoned and ordered, went to pay and collect and was charged about $10 extra, turns out new menu but not updated online. Fair enough, let it slide. Same thing happened in February and March, this time we had words, I'm down nearly $30 in total so asked manager to call me, still waiting. Bit slow but I finally learnt and now order when I'm there, takes a hell of a lot longer but at least I know what I'm paying. Thought it was all done but tonight I'm there for my 20 minute wait, although more like 45 minutes when lady comes in and same thing happens to her, now surely after 6 months it should be sorted. How many others has this happened to, it's not a lot but soon adds up especially if you're not expecting it. Other than that...
