This small intimate Thai restaurant serves delicious dishes is a hidden gem because it is kind of hidden.

They were busy and we didn't get served promptly and others were served before us. But it was very hectic and they were apologetic.

The food more than makes up for the all of the place service. Definitely try the pineapple curry if you would like something different. It's divine with coconut rice. More please! The fried rice was one of my favourites and I have eaten my fair share. This place has the right flavour and texture. Yummy! I would love to have it for lunch everyday.

There is parking in the area especially at the back.

May 2020: Great local restaurant for its service and food quality. We absolutely love the green curry chicken and the sweet and sour pork, followed by the beef Pad Thai. Will come back again for takeaway and meals again

Jun 2024: didn't visit this place for a long while as I have moved away. Happy to say that standard hasn't dropped, still the same great authentic taste and service. Had nothing but good things to say about Yais until tonight. I text to place an order which I normally do because their English isn’t the best when I have called to place an order. 15 minutes later I hadn’t had a response so I called the store and they confirmed they hadn’t received my message yet, I said please just cancel it as it will be too long a wait now. I then was bombarded with abusive text messages from the restaurant accusing me of cancelling an order when they had already begun preparing it and calling me rude.
