Cherry Street Sports Club — Restaurant in Ballina

I love the Cherry St Bowling club. In a matter of 5 months I have had to the point 6 incidents where I was asked to leave due to being intoxicated by nearly each bar staff. I am presently at the moment staying with my parents & to go to the club is a way out of pressure & is relaxing. I am a very happy go lucky woman & by going to the club helps me to unwind from family worries & issues. Thursday night I was told to leave the premises by Brad when he told me to leave I told him to his face that he hates me & my feelings is that he will go to any length to get me barred from the club. When he told me too leave I said that I was going he said to me that if I didn't hurry up that he bullied me out in a loud voice from the bar to the front desk that he was going to call the police I was not in an aggressive or nasty mood all I was doing was playing the poker machines & keeping to myself. I spoke to Tere regarding this incident & it was supposed to be a complaint from a customer who said that I was telling my life story about. That is totally incorrect & wrong & I would like to see this person who I was supposedly to have annoyed. If I play the poker machines I never speak maybe hello or how are you . 1. Lined up for 20 minutes to order food and pay $25 a meal plus $5 soft drinks
2. 25 minute wait...we picked it up from the counter
3. Food was stone cold. Waited another 40 minutes for replacement food.
4. One positive they gave us a partial refund.

More people needed in the kitchen at peak times to speed things up! Prices are like a restaurant but presents like corner takeaway.

If the owner is reading this, please, for the love of God, look at the disgrace of the food coming out of the kitchen. I can cook a hot steak in 5 minutes and bang the pre-cooked mash in the microwave but it takes you guys an hour.

Complete disrespect to the produce used, it could have created a masterpiece but instead, the mash being soggy and cold, the meat tougher than my steel cap boots and a salad that even a inmate on death row wouldn't...

Absolutely spiffing! Food is spectacular and fantastic alcoholic beverages. An excellent stop off the highway, and the online chat assistant Perly was helpful in getting me directions back onto the M1, although I didn't have enough money for fuel after the pokies at this establushment, I would otherwise be safe in Brisbane thanks to Perly!

P.s. I've left a $5 note on top of the first pokie machine on the left as soon as you walk into the second room as a tip for the excellent service. I would suggest investing in a tip jar as I was puzzled on where else to put it.
