Not so friendly staff. Guys, don't grunt and snort at customers who aren't locals when they come up to the bar. We are choosing to spend our money at your establishment, and we have access to Google reviews. Say Hello! Be friendly.

Service , well......if you are going to take my money for a beer, then please have the courtesy of putting it in front of me after I have bought it, not halfway down the bar, then walk off, leaving me to ask another staff member where my beer was. Also, acquaint your staff with the products you sell. Generally, light beer is sold in hotels, and stubbies are kept in the fridge; so, when a customer asks for a light beer, don't lead them to believe that your hotel doesn't sell light beer because its not on tap.

The Decor is very fresh, and the bar is nicely decorated, and the hotel apparently has great reviews for the food. Shame the smoke from the cigarettes in the smokers area permeated across the non smoking area of the bar, including areas where people were trying to eat...

Second visit in as many weeks. Food and service were so good we were inspired to return. Had Prawn and Bug bowl first vist, flathead chips salad, steak chips salad and perch chips and salad. Absolutley fantastic, food was great and service was the best I have seen in Australia in years. Second visit was also memroble, ribs chips and salad and lamb cutlets chips and salad. Ribs were cooked to perfection (not overdone as so often is) ple3nty of texture and still very tender. Wasn't a fan of the sauce, however this was down to my tastes not how the dish was prepared. Partners dish was also excellent. Again service and food were so much more than expected. Chef and staff make all the difference, we will be back in the near future. The calamari and sald looks very good, I think this is next. Also check out the specials board, special in more than just price. Highly recomend for a chilled...

Fly in the water (probably an accident) Quantity over quality for sure, overpriced for the flavour and quality big portions however. Good chips but the rest of the food was a pretty mid. Pasta felt like they just added some pasta sauce to the linguini with no love 😔. Can’t say I received service with a smile, had to clean our own table when we sat down. The chef was kind when they forgot a meal he was helpful, can’t say the same for the other staff, felt cold and distant like my ex wife. 🤬. One of the waitress did provide a take away container without us asking which was helpful ✅. Food came out in about 20 minuets which was pretty on par with service quality standards ✅. Guy behind the bar had the same birthday as someone in our party 🎉. Probably wouldn’t go back to this pub...
