Outstanding Breakfast Experience at Belle Central Cafe
It's not everyday that you come across a place that serves food as exquisite as Belle Central Cafe in Ballina. Their breakfast menu, especially the egg on sourdough with avocado, mushrooms, and tomatoes, was a sheer delight to my palate. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with yolks oozing just right, blanketed on top of a beautifully toasted sourdough, imbuing a perfect balance of textures. The avocado added a fresh, creamy texture that complemented the richness of the egg, and the mushrooms and tomatoes were cooked and seasoned flawlessly, enhancing the overall dish with a lovely, earthy flavour.
Belle Central Cafe certainly goes above and beyond in ensuring a culinary experience that stands out. The ambience is vibrant yet comforting, and the service, undeniably excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and dedicated to providing an unforgettable dining experience.

Read moreI’ve been to Belle Cental before and ordered a smashed avocado on toast and it was very delicious, but unfortunately my experience yesterday was far from that. When I got back to the car to eat, all I could smell was burnt toast. I turned it over and this is what I saw. It looks like the grill/toaster needs a good clean. I did ask for gluten free bread but this certainly didn’t look like it. I had to throw the toast away. The food sent out showed a half hearted attempt on behalf of the chef. I also noticed the chef using his bare hands to put the greens on top. Professionalism of serving staff also seemed to be lacking. I’m not a fan of sourdough, but if every sourdough tasted like this one, I’d be eating sourdough all day every day.
I added the House Hot Smoked Salmon. I eat Hot smoked salmon quite a bit, and this was the best one I’ve ever had. Soft and pulled in the middle, slightly crispy on the outside with a slight crunch. Not dry. The smoky flavour packs a punch and adds so much body to the salmon.
Also I live on aioli, I eat it on a daily basis. This was also the best Aioli I’ve ever tasted.
