Location: Sev7en is located on the first floor up a covered outdoor staircase. Amazing views over Batemans Bay’s Clyde River and the Batemans Bay bridge with very little traffic on the street front outside for peaceful dining. Easy to access and locate in Batemans Bay town centre with flat walking options throughout the town. Layout and Function: There is a covered deck out the front with casual and comfortable coastal style seating options of high bar, dining table and relaxed couches around a coffee table. Inside has plenty of casual cafe tables plus back-to-wall bench seat options. Ordering is from the counter with table service for meal delivery. Food and Drinks: The food is fresh and delicious and very generous in portion size. It came quickly despite a 3/4 full house. We shared two mains between two adults and one 10yo child and were well fed. Coffee was superb with table water from self-serve water station. We have been to Se7en a few times and had great fresh juices previously- but these are no longer available unfortunately- juice choices are now pre-bottled from the fridge. We saw milkshakes delivered to other diners. The chilli scrambled eggs with crab is delicious. Sweet crab to the side of the scrambles on 2 pieces of toasted sourdough with chilli and avocado sauce dabs around the plate - well balanced and fresh with fried shallots for crunch and pickles and lime for tang. Romanesco eggs with delicious romanesco sauce bed beneath perfect poached eggs and long shaves of crispy sweet potato. There’s a counter cabinet with biscuits, friands and muffins with generous sized treats. We have previously enjoyed the delicious fresh sweet muffins with perfectly crispy rim. I would recommend Sev7en for great casual dining with efficient service and beautiful...
Read moreThere were four of us (2 couples) that went to Se7en Cafe. If was very busy inside, it's not a big Cafe inside. There are tables and chairs outside but it was very cold the day we went and no one was sitting outside. Our friends ordered 2 bacon and egg roll, they were literally uneatable, the bacon was over cooked and very hard to eat without choking and the eggs were cooked (fried) within an inch of it's life. Our friends could not even eat the Bacon and Egg Rolls. My husband ordered a Calamari Salad which was not much better, I ordered a Bacon, Lettuce, Advocado & Tomato Sandwich (B.L.A.T.) once again the bacon was black (overcooked), we had two coffees. PRICE: $58.00 for us two. OUTRAGEOUS. When the lady came to clear the table off she said was there something wrong, our friends said it was awful. She came back and said would you like two free cakes and our friends said No thank you. We then left. As a final word the prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. We are locals and won't...
Read moreI and my wife visited here on 29th Dec 2023. We ordered a dozen natual oysters, a beef burger, and a bacon egg roll. A lady at the counter was very nice and friendly, but one female staff member was acting really rude. We asked to take a takeaway cup that was on my table from the previous customer and wipe the table but she looked upset when I asked, acting annoyed, took the cup but never wiped the table for us. That was one of the worst of the worst customer services that I have ever experienced. The white lid of the big table water jar looks dirty with blackish dust and water, the glass cups look unclean, and inside a cup had a sesame. Food wise, the oysters were good, and the bacon egg roll was alright, but the beef burger was quite horrible. The patty was too dry and almost impossible to chew. The location and atmosphere were amazing, especially at the...
