We visited Curry King in Bayswater and everything was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavourful and full of authentic Punjabi taste. We tried the palak paneer, samosas, cheese kurkuris, tandoori mushrooms, tanghuri kebabs, lamb chops, prawn jalfrezi, goat biryani, chicken montaz and their tandoori roti – each dish was cooked to perfection and so delicious. The Mango Passion and Fire Engine drinks were really refreshing, and the mango kulfi and pistachio kulfi were the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Oh my!! What wonderful food!! We ordered the Malai Kofta, Chicken Tikka Masala and a couple of Naans. The Malai Kofta was fantastic-the Koftas were so tasty with a great texture! And my goodness-we’ve tried a lot of Chicken Tikka Masala and this is possibly the best in Australia we’ve had. The chicken was so Smokey-you can really taste the tandoor flavour, and the masala was fantastic! Well called on the phone to order and the lady was so polite and patient with me. We visited this new Indian restaurant on its opening day, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! The highlight for us was the smooth, silky Mumtaj chicken curry — rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. The samosas were crisp and flavorful, and the cheese Kurkure was a unique treat I had never tried before but instantly loved.
