Berry Bowling Club — Restaurant in Berry

I'm giving 5 stars for 2 reasons Quantity Friendliness and willingness to accommodate

Remember, this is not a first class restaurant but the attitude of the people here is first class

Every meal the 8 of us purchased was a good size, most bordering on oversized

Two large pieces of chicken for the chicken schnitzel means, a high stack of calamari fire the calamari meals, sizable packed out Burger with beetroot for the hamburger made for great value

Two ordered the beef filet meals, and expected those thin sizzeling steak fillets but instead got a 3/4" thin steak cooked beautifully

One of our group is allergic to most things, so they ordered plain chicken. The restaurant checked to make sure that understood the order. They even came out again to further check if they could have soya sauce because the chef wanted to make sure. They couldn't, so they're meal was cooled plain. When they delivered the meal, they checked again to make sure because they felt the meal was very plain, but it was in fact how our group could have their food. This sort of attention to getting the meal right we find difficult to obtain see good class restaurants, yet alone at places like bowling clubs

We will 100% be visiting here again!

Really nice club with a very regional friendly feel.

Good range of on tap beers. A well stocked bar to cover everyone’s tastes.

The Chinese restaurant is ok. Big serves of food and the ingredients are fresh enough. You get good bang for your buck but this is old school Chinese take out style food. It’s not the modern interpretation with its fusions and influences, it’s just Chinese food lol.

Classic country Chinese at the bowlo. Had the fried rice which was delicious and the Mongolian beef which was a little on the spicy side but nevertheless it was yummy. Food came out quick and great service. Had to try the fried ice cream, the batter had a nice lemon taste which was pretty cool. Doesn’t matter how bad your day was, you’ll walk out with a grin...
