Disappointed with Order Accuracy at KFC Indooroopilly
I recently ordered from KFC Indooroopilly and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The order I received was not accurate, and this left me disappointed with the overall service.
Despite clearly specifying my preferences and double-checking the order before finalizing it, there were several mistakes. Firstly, I received the wrong burger, which was a significant deviation from what I had selected. Additionally, a side dish that I had paid for was missing from the order entirely. These errors not only affected the taste and enjoyment of the meal but also resulted in a waste of time and money.
As a regular customer of KFC Indooroopilly, I have always appreciated the quality and taste of their food. However, this recent experience has left me questioning the attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling customer orders. It is disheartening to encounter such errors, especially when expecting a reliable and consistent dining experience.

After ordering and waiting 5 minutes I was asked if I wanted to swap the chicken fillets for tenders as there was a ten minute wait for the fillets. I said I was happy to wait but I didn’t want the chips already boxed and that I wanted fresh ones when the burgers were ready. After 10 minutes one of the boxes of chips that weren’t even in the warmer were sold to another customer, I was shocked and should have told him but decided he can deal with cold chips himself. After 20 minutes I received my order and watched one large chips boxed up and given with my order, I believed that both chips were fresh but when I got home, just down the road, one box was warm and the other box was cold and soggy. I can’t believe after requesting fresh chips having to wait so long they still gave me one box that was boxed and left on the counter for over 20 minutes and selling the other box on the shelf not the warmer to an unsuspecting customer after 10 minutes. I came all the way to Indooroopilly KFC to get the dinner rolls and mash & gravy.
We paid over $50 for our meal. As we were waiting for our order, they told us they did not have dinner rolls and substituted it for wicked wings - they ended up giving us 2 wings and ONE DRUMSTICK.
Some other things I experienced were:
The 2 large chips that we got were half empty.
There was more lettuce on the wrapper and inside the bag than on our burgers.
They did not provide ANY napkins, wet wipes nor cutlery for our salad.
It was a very quiet night but the order still took at least 15-20 minutes to prepare - mind you its known as a FAST food chain.
Finally, they messed up our order by giving us a twister wrap INSTEAD of our mash & gravy that we ordered.
Additionally, I am especially outraged at the immature and appalling service accompanied by their inability to get our order correct.
On top of that, I tried to order through the KFC app, although it would not accept apple pay. I conspire that they were trying to steal my information in the process.
